Panasonic New Zealand very kindly sent us a Lumix G9 to profile here at FilmConvert HQ.
The tailor-made camera pack is now available at the FilmConvert website. I decided to test out the camera’s video capabilities by taking it to the awe-inspiring Tongariro Alpine Crossing day walk in National Park NZ. The walk is in many top one-day walks on the planet and it is honestly one of the best experiences of my life.
The camera performed magnificently, the stabilization allowed me to get into hard to reach areas and shoot with ease without the need of any gear other gear which was ideal for the terrain. Having 4K 60p internal in a camera that is more aimed towards still photography just shows how versatile the range of Lumix cameras are. Keep up the great work Panasonic!
