I shoot a lot of weddings every year, and this one was one I really got down and dirty with using film convert, I gotta say film convert gives you the chance to get some looks that are almost impossible without it, mostly, I love it for the possibility to really dial in the skin tones and create a pleasing look that feels natural, and organic, which can be hard to achieve on a digital medium sometimes.

With his incredible charisma and musical energy, he charges everyone he meets on his way. His fate is a vivid example of the fact that a person is able to create his desired future in spite of life circumstances. His story will respond to anyone who has come across a choice: to leave everything as it is or to take a step into the unknown, following the dream. His music is an awakening to life and a manifestation of real feelings. Stephen Ridley is one of the heroes of our time, and we will be glad to meet you with him.

"Story Behind the Wall" is an advocacy short documentary that features the trials and tribulations of a mural artist fighting for his art in Johor, Malaysia. This biopic documentary tells the audience about the story of NABIL Azahari, a young Mural artist based in Johor Bahru whose greatest desire is to become an endless mural artist. However, it is a formidable task: how will he do it? This story will inspire many Malaysian youths, particularly those who believe it’s not possible to make a living through the arts. Nabil proves that it is possible.

This video tells the story of Studio 123 cinema theatre in Järvenpää, Finland. They were awarded as the Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 by The Federation of Finnish Enterprises, Järvenpää Department.

This is a very short spec piece for the OR Film Office to promote shooting in Oregon. We wanted to highlight the different geographical regions of the state, and this one was meant to represent urban locales.

This is a micro documentary I made for New Life Foundation in Thailand about Suad who has struggled with burnout and tells her story of recovery and healing. I shot it on a BMPCC4k in Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand, for a non profit centre that supports people in recovery

This film was made as part of a weekly community film 'game' I participate in. The rules for the films made that week were that it had to be shot on a phone, and could only include one cut. I came up with an idea to have what appeared to be several cuts, but weren't. We filmed one hour and a half long single take across several locations on a phone. Each performance had to be good on the first try or we'd have to start over. I then speedramped the black parts in between the scenes. It was an insane exhilarating experience trying to pull it off and it worked out.

This was an interesting one. Fred Mascherino's team approached me about doing a lyric video right around the time I was making a big transition in life moving from Seattle to Atlanta (by car). But they gave me a lot of creative freedom to try something weird so despite the stress and inconvience of trying to get this project finished while prepping to leave and then being on the road, I said yes and we came up with this stop motion final product. 28 friends gathered to celebrate the marriage of their best friends, Nyla and Andrew. Each person brought their talents and we all co-created the three day celebration together. No rehearsals, just trust, love, and permission to show up and be fully present. My talent was to document the wedding, and all I had was my Sony A7sii handheld. In June of 2019, a group of clergy and lay people from Piedmont Community Church in California journeyed to Malawi, Africa to observe supported ministries there. They visited a blind school, feeding program for widows and orphans and a hospital in addition to spending a Sunday with sister church, Kafita. Music native to Malawian spiritual culture provides the soundtrack. The film recognizes that the truest gift comes from those who have little to give.

I made this for a local community film challenge I take part in weekly. The rules for films made that week were that it must include slow motion and you had two days to do it. This one has heavy inspiration from two scenes in the movie Hot Rod, one of my all time favorite comedies.
