By Graham DorsayBack in 2017, I went on a missions trip to Mirebalais, Haiti. Here's one of the stories I captured. Because of the Haiti Free School Project, Alexis can go to school for free along with 500 other students. It was incredible to see the impact it's had on their lives. I'm eager to get back.
By Graham DorsayWhat a wonderful wedding in Port Alberni, BC. I couldn't have asked for better couple, location, and weather. The food was pretty great too.
By Graham DorsayA glimpse into another world. A world where the business of life fades away. Having the opportunity to enter the world of these gentle giants is both humbling and awe inspiring. The way these animals transform from their clumsy terrestrial selves into graceful, precise, creatures underwater is astonishing. You can never predict exactly what a pinniped is going to do next, but you can be assured that it will always grab your attention. Being a human chew toy is fun too.
By Graham DorsayCascadia Liquor challenged us to blend the theme of exploring from their stores into nature. There are seemingly endless things to see in their stores just like Vancouver Island. Using powerful transitions, engaging sound design and the beautiful Kodak Portra 400 Film Stock by FilmConvert, we are pretty stoked on how this commercial turned out!
By Graham DorsayJon and James were paired up in March of 2017. At the time they were living on opposite sides of the country. James had never ridden a tandem bicycle and Jon had a bowl style skateboard helmet and his first pair of clip-less cycling shoes, which he was keen to try out for race day. After a couple of wobbly starts and one low speed crash, Jon and James stormed onto their first podium, taking a bronze medal and their first steps toward the 2020 Paralympic Games. This film was created to share their story and raise funds to keep the momentum going.

By Reno Mezger0.61% of the land area of Korea, distance between north and south 30.30km, distance between east and west 36.78km. Seoul, which became the capital of Korea in 1394, is a living city itself where diverse people and cultures coexist. There are many artists who are not yet known but working with their own beliefs. Seoul X Unknown Artist Project will be a digital film archiving project that introduces those artists and their works and beliefs. Hyeyeon Lee, an illustrator and painter, was born in Seoul and studied illustration in San Francisco. She returned to Korea in 2018 and is currently working as a freelance painter.
By seungminVisiting rural Ohio during the Fourth of July in 2016, the filmmakers turned an observational lens onto the people of Morrow County. Documenting a 95-year-old native, his multi-generational and multi-racial family and public celebrations of the national holiday, they created a short ethnography in cinéma vérité style.
By Eric MaceySierra Leone has endured a period plagued by one of this century's largest health threats. The country is currently paving the road forwards while facing the challenges of its own recovery along the way. This documentary short provides us with insights from the people who work at Lion Heart Medical Centre and are performing life-changing work on a daily basis. I believe these people are setting an important example for humanitarian aid organisations by showing continued progress towards a state of independence. Their motivation, strong dedication and cross-cultural collaborations were of great inspiration to me.

By Reggie BrownA mother's worst nightmare comes to life as her 3 year old daughter, Catherine, vanishes suddenly and without a trace. As the mother searches frantically for her child it becomes clear that she will never see her beautiful baby again and that Catherine was never lost. LOST was filmed on a zero dollar budget and was made to bring awareness to the unknown personal trials and horrors associated with the degeneration of the mind, with the hopes of inspiring sensitivity and patience with those who suffer from such conditions.
By Reggie BrownLittle Trees is a experimental short film that was shot, edited, color graded and sound designed by Reggie A Brown. With "Orson Welles War of the Worlds" 1938 radio broadcast playing throughout in this experimental film, I had a strong focus on abstract editing with a old school 16mm film feel - mixed with a new age digital feel, and music that causes dread along with a solid sound design. No audio was recorded during the video recording process, instead, the audio was later recorded and replaced in the post process. My goal was to make this short in a way that'll be memorable and make the audience say, "that was fucking weird", but they'll like it anyway.
By Reggie BrownThis feature film explores the boggled mind of Elliot; a teenager who is haunted by the death of his mother and sister who were killed during a family camping trip. But Elliot can only remember partial segments of that misfortune. As he tries to piece together all of the events that lead up to their tragic death, his memory is triggered by certain objects - a bracelet that his sister Ellie wore, pictures of his family, newspaper articles about the death of his mother and sister, a jewelry box, fire, and a bell.

By Hassan KiyanyIn Lebanon, a country where the LGBTQ community still faces extreme discrimination, a scene is emerging that celebrates the identity, flamboyance and passion of its queer community. It’s voguing, a dance style created in New York City in the 80s to create a safe space for LGBTQ people. We meet dancer Hoedy Saad in Beirut to discover how, in the face of adversity, he's building a vogue scene in the Middle East to fight for freedom. Graded with FilmConvert.
By LUKE DE LA NOUGEREDEWe used filmconvert for this music video to create a classic, yet otherworldly feel. The video is all about subverting what is expected and the colour grade was a big part of this challenge.

By Sean TreacyThis was our first commercial featuring an NFL Player, and for a brand outside of the Midwest. This was a huge opportunity, and we wanted to make the video epic! Instead of focusing only on the product, we chose to tell a piece of Geronimo Allison's story to help sell the mattress. It was his first commercial so he was just as excited as us! Geronimo was putting in a lot of work on and off the field. Thanks to VaynerSports, we were able to shoot part of this inside Lambeau Field. We wanted to show even more, though. We found iconic locations around Green Bay, WI to shoot his workout scenes at. We were inspired by films like Rocky & Creed, and wanted this comm. to feel like that. More of a mini-movie than a mattress commercial.
