Our friend Jes is a talented photographer who happens to be a beekeeper on her spare time. She asked us if we wanted to come and film her bees. We then decided to turn this into a little doco. This was originally prompted by the fact that bees were recently declared the most important living beings on this planet. Thus was filmed in the Blue Mountains, close to Sydney, Australia.

Released to coincide with Mental Health awareness week in the UK, 'I'll Go Down With You' is a single from Irish singer songwriter Nathan O'Regan. It focuses on accepting someone despite of and because of their flaws which makes them unique. It attempted to remove the stigma associated with mental health issues. This film was made as part of a weekly community film 'game' I participate in. The rules for the films made that week were that it had to be shot on a phone, and could only include one cut. I came up with an idea to have what appeared to be several cuts, but weren't. We filmed one hour and a half long single take across several locations on a phone. Each performance had to be good on the first try or we'd have to start over. I then speedramped the black parts in between the scenes. It was an insane exhilarating experience trying to pull it off and it worked out.

Curacao is a beautiful island in the Caribbean with a great biodiversity of marine life, volcanos, tropical beaches, Mangroves and coral reefs. Curacao is home to endangered species like the sea turtle and Caribbean flamingo. Thats why Maya Mathias founded the Greenkidz Project in 2015 to contribute to a cleaner and healthier Curacao. Together with her colleagues, she developed a program to teach children about plastic and recycling in their schools. We visited Maya and the Greenkidz to document their important work.

I was trying to see how much I could cram into a minute long narrative. The film needed to include five shots of unaltered clocks reading 11:48 per the rules of a weekly community film challenge game I participate in.

I made this for a local community film challenge I take part in weekly. The rules for films made that week were that it must include slow motion and you had two days to do it. This one has heavy inspiration from two scenes in the movie Hot Rod, one of my all time favorite comedies.

An intimate peek into one day in 11 years with my dog Mesha, a Miniature Pinscher. She came with me on trips all over Japan, spending a lot of time on the road, waiting for the right light and weather conditions to photograph rural and coastal areas. In September 2018 I started filming clips to rough out the concept and later re-shoot it with another camera in various locations over several months. Unfortunately in September 2019, Mesha passed away suddenly and unexpectedly before I could finish the project the way I had envisioned. This documentary is made with the footage I had up until that point.

With a song that sounded like it was straight out of the 70's, we needed a video that matched the timelessness of it. Swooli ( The artist) came to me with the song Millenial 20's, and I honestly knew that Film Convert was going to help me achieve the vision, feeling and look this video needed.

Lynn (Lotte Milder), a young girl, is stranded in a mysterious countryside manor due to a raging storm. She mingles with others who have also been stranded. During her stay, Lynn becomes intrigued by a mural depicting a Utopian world and can't help but notice the stark dissonance from her own reality. Maybe her presence in the house is more than just a coincidence?
