I traveled to the 'Land of Ice and Fire' in October 2017. With a concept in mind of what I wanted to create I teamed up with Benni, Markus and Johannes of Wildboar 3D Studio. Luckily the guys shared my vision so we worked on this passion project together.

DECOLONYCITIES. How can we restore suppressed knowledge about Germany’s colonial past? And what specific role did Hamburg play in this story? The Hamburg-based choreographer Yolanda Gutiérrez takes the audience with her on a corporeal and architectural research trip into the HafenCity, where streets are still named after the “conquerors” of the “New World”. Nowhere else is the lasting legacy of colonialism for the “Hansestadt” so apparent. On a walk that is also an audio play, performers from Dar es Salaam and Hamburg portray how their individual experiences and biographies reflect German-Tanzanian history.

This is a very short spec piece for the OR Film Office to promote shooting in Oregon. We wanted to highlight the different geographical regions of the state, and this one was meant to represent urban locales.

We met Aurora last winter, just before her show in Paris. We did one take, in a bar on a lunch break. It went smooth and magical :)

The video can be beautiful itself but the truest beauty comes from the real love as the one that was captured after the wedding.

This is a visual poetry based on 3 different poems. It was inspired by the 5 daily prayers of Ramadan and by Alice in wonderland. It explores the feeling of love through the possible co-existence of several parallel versions of our universe. Filmed in Marrakech and the desert of Agafay in anamorphic format with the Iscorama 1.5x lens on the Zeiss Biotar 58mm f2.0 taking lens. From buttering toast to swimming straight to typing quickly on a computer, Ellett has learned to adapt and to look for the positives in life. He now works as the Kansas City Chiefs Assistant Coach while also sharing his experiences as a motivational speaker.

It's not often that weddings look beyond the horizon, to something bigger, something more than even two madly in love could contain. It's rare, but not impossible.⁠ Such is a Christian wedding at its purist. In a deeply surprising and yet practical way, the Bible says that marriages points at the cosmic, capital 'M' marriage of Jesus and the believers that make up the Church.⁠ As a man of faith, a leader at my church AND a wedding cinematographer I happily celebrate weddings from faiths across the board. But every once in awhile I am refreshed by a couple of whom I share this deep conviction - that the day is about them - of course it is! - but it's about so much more. ⁠

This is a micro documentary I made for New Life Foundation in Thailand about Riss who has struggled with addiction and tells her story of recovery and healing. I shot it on a BMPCC4k in Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand, for a non profit centre that supports people in recovery
