A Nina da Lua (Sonia Carmona) le detectaron un sarcoma d’Ewing cuando tenía 31 años. Se trataba de un cáncer óseo muy agresivo que tenía muy mal pronóstico según diversos especialistas por la ubicación (ala ilíaca izquierda) y sus medidas (12 cm aprox).
Desde ese preciso instante Nina decidió dejarse guiar por su propia naturaleza interior para aceptar el proceso y suavizar los crudos efectos de la quimioterapia (8 sesiones) y la radioterapia (30 sesiones). Su único objetivo fue sentirse viva en cada detalle y ese amor transformó su cuerpo.
A los seis meses del proceso Nina no solamente consiguió sanarse. También un hecho poco común: regenerar el hueso que se había abierto a causa del tumor en muy poco tiempo.

But the humans still have one last hope, the immune. There are four people that are immune to the gas, and they must choose to fight or survive in the shadows. The film is based on one of the 'immune's' story. This video is a promo for that film idea to become a possibility using Indiegogo.

Favignana is a beautiful island off the west coast of Sicily part of the Aegadian Islands . It's rich history, deep azure waters, and friendly locals make for a perfect island experience. This was filmed during our three day visit to the island. The hike to the old Spanish fort is 3km each way. The island was well known for it's massive tuna fishing industry, but in the last 20 years it's main source of income has become tourism.

Here's a quick, low rez clip from our upcoming travel series WEWANNAGO. Episode 1 has us travelling through Turkey with stops in Istanbul, Cappadocia and Pamukkale. This short clip shows my wife Kseniya, her brother Kirill and myself (camera guy) taking our first steps into the historic site of Aya Sofya (Sancta Sophia). I've stripped out most of the voice overs and typographic/3D overlays— Saving the best for last :) So far, this episode is sitting around 9 minutes and that's just enough to show off the best of what Istanbul has to offer.

We're working hard to get the first 4 episodes live this summer and we appreciate the support and motivation.

In February 2014, a group of amputee veterans set forth on a monumental goal for recovery, to climb the world’s tallest free-standing mountain: Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,341 ft). Consisting of six amputees and five wingman climbers,the Kilimanjaro Warriors hiked the mountain for eight days overcoming insurmountable obstacles and new challenges with each passing mile; trusting that determination, heart and undeniable grit can triumph over disability.

A woman travels by train trough a landscape made out of memories, old photographs, antique books and vintage postcards, trying to get gome.

KNOWER is one of the most vital and energetic dance/electronic groups in the world, so it was imperative for me as an editor to have a performance video that felt nothing like the average performance video, something that felt every bit as colorful and dizzying as the band itself. In order to do this, I decided to employ a number of 60's experimental film techniques, namely splitscreen and variable frame rates, but without upsetting the integrity of the performance by using shots from different parts of the set or doctoring performances. It was shot with five cameras running simultaneously, and every cut and corner of the frame is real time, down to the last note. FilmConvert™ was a huge part of that - not only was I able to very easily create a unique color and lighting scheme for each camera, but I could also really push the limits of each angle without ever encountering artifacts or crashing the software. Destination Wedding in Normandy - France Video portrait of Jess and Luke, a couple based in NY who asked us to document their wedding in Normandy past August. We spent five days with them and their families in the Old Chateau Le Mont Epinguet (Normandy – France). Make this video has become a deeper experience for us, share a week with Jess and Luke families made us become part of their memories. We were no longer there to document the wedding event but to tell something more intimate of their lives.

This is the first of two segments that I made for the wonderful One Day In Denver filmmaking project.

The second piece will focus on the journey of the paper boats from Cherry Creek Reservoir, moving North along Cherry Creek, and into the city, culminating in their arrival at Confluence Park in Denver, where Cherry Creek meets the Platte River, and begins it's long trip east to the Mississippi, and eventually the Atlantic Ocean.
