"The conversation is sharp. The honesty is raw. This isn't another informational video. This is bullying prevention like you've never seen it before." Wow! The above statement hooked me instantly. Growing up, I'd certainly dealt with my fair share of bullying, as I'm sure most everyone has, but I'd always wondered what was at the heart of it. I was burdened by it. As an adult, I still am. Very simply, how can people be so unkind? The prospect of seeking an answer via filmmaking was incredibly enticing. Again, I was hooked. In early 2015, writer/director/actor Ashley Shade shared her insightful play, "Catch," with me, and described a hugely ambitious educational campaign that would surround it. Her aim is to create a nationwide program designed to put teachers and students, young and old, bullies and bullied in the same space, eye-to-eye, in the hopes that digging deep will unearth a well of empathy and understanding. And, as just one small arm of the campaign, she wanted to turn the

Tiffany and Kyle had one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been a part of. The bridal party was gorgeous, the details perfect, and the locations and weather stunning. Tiffany and Kyle themselves, as their friends will tell you, are just so dang cute. Even with a few hiccups, including the power actually going out just before their grand entrance, they held it together and created an event full of amazing memories, people, and, of course, love.

Support Isabel her dream with a contribution to support her daily journey to school: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/fulfil-isabel-s-dancing-dream#/story
Isabel is four years old when she makes her first dance moves in her pink tights and leotard. From that moment on her days are filled with dance and ballet. Now, almost twelve years later, there is happiness but also a deeper desire to dance professionally one day.
Isabel is 15 years old and in the third year of HAVO/VWO for Music and Dance (HMD) Codarts in Rotterdam. In addition to her regular courses, she follows at least 20 hours of dance lessons per week. She works long days and so far, has travelled 3.5 times around the world by bus and train to her dance training already. And this is just the beginning.
Every morning at half past seven Isabel gets on the bus. That’s the beginning of her one and a half hour daily journey to Rotterdam. She works hard for her big dream every day!

By AnteSo I wanted to "field-test" the new Camera Cage for my Sony a7s and also do some more slog2 "overexposing" tests. With that "task" in mind i came a across a local Skateboard-Contest-Event (Bring Da Truckaz 2014), so i thought, well why not just test some 720p 100fps as well. Here is the result.
All slog2 (settings below) and a mix of 720p100, 1080p50 and some 1080p25 all in a 1080p25 Project (PremierePro CC 2014) mostly all like +1.0 or +2.0 "overexposed" (so to be more specific: between 1 or 2 stops EV based on the camera’s spot meter) like it was suggested by David Carstens (http://www.newsshooter.com/2014/08/13/can-the-sony-a7s-really-give-good-skin-tones-david-carstens-has-the-answer)

By Pablo Garcia SorianoI was very inspired by the song of « A bittersweet story that reflects on the fragility of love and the difficulty of letting someone go. ». It tells me a sweet an sour story about how fragile love is and how hard it is to let somebody go. I wanted to describe the feeling you have in those moments. Loneliness, guilt, emotional pain and break up.
It is the end of a love story. She is sad and suffer of being lonely. Without the great actress Gaëlle Gourvennec, it won’t have been the same. She just took these feeling and tells us them without a word through the camera.

FOSHAY draws inspiration from the first skyscraper west of the Mississippi, the Foshay Tower, and the man behind the spire.
In his younger years, Wilbur Foshay was an art student with a fond appreciation for the Washington monument. "It is beautiful, but with windows it would be useful." He made his fortune buying public utilities and selling the stocks, using his money to fulfill a lifelong dream.
Completing the tower in 1929, Foshay invited 25,000 guests to an elaborate three-day dedication ceremony. Cabinet members, senators and congressman received all-expenses paid trips. Half-nude dancers entertained. The military gave 19-gun salutes. Each guest received a gold pocket watch. John Philips Sousa conducted music, including a march he wrote just for the occasion.
Two months later, Sousa's $20,000 check bounced. The market crashed. Foshay lost everything. Including the towe

This is a follow up post to show how our Moonlight video looked like after it had been color graded. There were a handful of requests form viewers asking us to upload a graded version. We graded it with FilmConvert in Adobe Premiere Pro using the Sony A7s camera pack, Slog2 - S Gamut Profile, and the FJ 8553 ET FilmConvert Stock.
It was amazing to see how much color the A7s was able to bring out once we applied the Slog2 - S Gamut Profile to the clips. We desaturated the final grade to keep the moonlight feel.
