Dans les couloirs de Londres (in the corridors of London) is a music video by the french singer "Aelle" that I've shot and edited. It's about a suicide, poetically told.. That was mainly shot handled in London, during a journey with the actress together with the make-up artist.

The aging hipster-band Datarock has completely lost its edge, and so a despairing Rock-Steady Freddy makes a shady deal with Darkness, hoping to revive the band's image. What is the price they have to pay, when trying desperately to regain their hipster credibility? And where is seminal founding member Ket-Ill?

David Keenan was opening for Hozier during his late summer European tour. We met David in Paris, in Montmartre, and shot this great one shot video. This is the very first take we did, it was the perfect one. Immersed in the local street life, just before the sun sets.

Shot on a bmpcc. Graded with Filmconvert. All on FCPX. It's shot in ProRes/Film/25frames. We shot it in 12,5 hours divided over 5 days. Our main actress, Celé de Plessis did an amazing job as did all the other people that we worked with on our daily shoots. We shot it all on location in Capetown and her surroundings. A beautiful place filled with lovely people.

We fear most what we cannot see. Our protagonist has been walking for days on end—for what purpose? Good, evil, revenge, escape? Should we pity or fear the tortured man who once walked among us? Taking visual cues from the canon of classic 80’s sci-fi, most of the story unfolds overnight in a destitute underground parking lot. As the song breaks into its instrumental finish, we are transported to an affluent residential neighbourhood, mid-day, jogging, clean. The story fumbles many knots without untangling any of them, clearing in front of us a path of endless questions.

This is a music video I made for a friend's band. Is not the hardest work I made but we did it in 3 hours in the singer's living-room, improvising with that big top of his son, so that's perfectly a piece to be proud of :D I chose the b&w option because I thought at the beginning that it will help us go faster in the shooting. Also the band wanted the clip in B&W so I saw the FJ Neo the most reasonable option. Love that tone and texture.
