Since getting this baby 3 months ago I keep it in a small backpack I try to take with me when I’m riding my bike or traveling the world.
Love the full frame sensor, the retro look, the great viewfinder (let’s you pretend you are shooting stills) S-log and the crazy ISO numbers you can now dare to use.
I shot mostly handheld but used a rhino slider on few shots.
FilmConvert plug-in for FCP X (first version) , and Alister chapman LUT’s as a starting point (thank you Alistair)

used a cool Program called Film convert (www.filmconvert.com) that emulates different film stock's,
after spending a lot of time during my career in Film to tape sessions i must say: some of those looks come really close to the feel of 35" film.
Hope you enjoy my little vignette.

Surf culture in Slovenia is still young and naive, but on the other hand true and hardcore as it gets. As inlanders, growing up close to the high mountains, we put our hearts and souls (and all the spare money) into getting our feet on some fiberglass... never to far, never to cold and never to crappy for a Slovenian waveglider... Klemen Surk is one of the pioneers of Slovenian surf scene. He is one of the mellowest and modest guys I have had the pleasure to share some waves and surftripping moments with... a traveller, a soul surfer and all around good guy with a light social media addiction, this is Klemzy! By Mitja LegatThis is a follow up post to show how our Moonlight video looked like after it had been color graded. There were a handful of requests form viewers asking us to upload a graded version. We graded it with FilmConvert in Adobe Premiere Pro using the Sony A7s camera pack, Slog2 - S Gamut Profile, and the FJ 8553 ET FilmConvert Stock.
It was amazing to see how much color the A7s was able to bring out once we applied the Slog2 - S Gamut Profile to the clips. We desaturated the final grade to keep the moonlight feel.

A few months back, I embarked on an impromptu day trip to Philadelphia with my good friend Seth Nenstiel. The mission was to relax, capture beautiful images, break in my shiny new Blackmagic Cinema Camera, and converse deeply about life and God and such. It was an awesome day. Seth is a talented photographer and an all around great guy. You should check him out here: http://sethnenstiel.com.
Also, here's Seth's blog post about the trip!

"Useless job is something that prevents you from living a full life. Billions of people around the world are working under constraint and humanity is wasting its potential. The majority dreams of glory and their faces on banners and magazine covers . And all these seem achievable. But what if not?! What if you suffer the destiny of most of the representatives of the modern world? What then? Maybe your whole life will become a nightmare."
