A soul emerging from the interior of an ancient canvas painted on the wall of a church, travels flying over the region of about 400 years, visiting elements representative of the past. The soul is actually the perception of our own national identity.

By grischa.schwank@gmail.comThis motivational film titled "Moments", walks through the timelines of six people's lives. As the film describes, each day of our lives are filled with moments and it's up to us what we do with those experiences. Within that process, we have the ability to make decisions that can change our lives forever, both good and bad.

My very first sort of experiment.
A small tribute to Allan Poe.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;
But the silence was unbroken, and the darkness gave no token,
And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, `Lenore!'
This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, `Lenore!'
Merely this and nothing more.

I've visited many places, met many people, learned many things; and I'm thankful for all that I received, I thank all who have given me a bit of their time. Now, all I want in this new year, is to be able to make more... to understand that the right time is now! And to try to give back all the good that I've received. Once a man said: "experience does for the soul what education does for the mind" So that's my purpose for 2017: to fill the year with experiences, and share them with other people... nothing more, nothing less. Make 2017 your best year yet. I was trying to see how much I could cram into a minute long narrative. The film needed to include five shots of unaltered clocks reading 11:48 per the rules of a weekly community film challenge game I participate in.
By James WightmanOriginally a concept for a "60 Seconds" project - where 1 second is 1 shot . It evolved into 100 Seconds (I liked the number over sixty), but I couldn't find music that I liked at 1 second intervals. 100 Seconds became 100 Notes, but in this particular piece there are 121 notes, but with 120 with Marg and 1 of black at the beginning.
I'd been trying to get this project done since before the summer started, but I could never get it to work, or really look, the way I wanted it to, after three different shoots.
Randomly saw a Philip Bloom (https://vimeo.com/philipbloom) blog about FilmConvert (http://philipbloom.net/2013/07/28/filmconvert/), and decided to give the demo a try. I really liked it, and decided to work it into this 120 Notes project.
I completely reworked the sequence shots from my earlier attempts, and decided on the Polaroid 600 film emulation.

Synopsis
The existential narration of an amnesic 'Vampire' that doesn't remember what happened before he was turned. Tired of eternity, he wanders through the world questioning humans and his own nature; constantly remembering the lost connection he had with his 'Creator'... until one day, he finds 'The Woman' and she brakes all his dogmas. By David MiazgaSince I was a kid I had two things that fascinated me, space and movie making. I was fascinated by science, rockets and imagined myself becoming the first human to set foot on Mars. I took science and film classes during the summer, I worked hard to keep good grades, I did everything I thought will get me closer to my dream. But at 17 my parents divorced due to my mother mental illness, and one day I had no father, no house, no money, a very sick mother, and a small brother and sister that were looking up to me. For years we lived with friends, and relatives, and after a long list of mistakes, I reached bottom. I was homeless and broken. But God, the Universe, call it whatever you want, put people in my path that were able to see who could I become. I met the most beautiful human being, my wife, who showed me and taught me how to dream again. We came to this country 20 years ago, and now we have 3 amazing kids. I’ll take them to every rocket launch (even if they have to miss school

A Beekeepers guide to bees: care, observation, and provide what they can for the well being of these amazing creatures; along with years of experience and knowledge of course. Well you can start simply as Renée had until her curiosity led her to tell the story of these powerful bees through her emotionally charged still imagery.
Renée's story is that of a curious observer who decided to try something new and it's led her to amazing places. She has traveled to Italy to photograph beekeepers and advocates for beekeeping without the use of pesticides.
