I recently went on solo adventure to India (from September 08-13, 2016) initially full of fears. India has always been an elusive dream for me because it paints a picture of chaos and danger to any ordinary traveler. One day, I just woke up realizing I wanted to finally visit the destination probably on top of my bucket list, despite my friends turning down my invitation to backpack to India with me. So here's a video that summarizes my fears, my newfound joys, and my little adventure to a destination I fell in love with and will visit over and over again. Only because, in India - I finally found my answer: of what it means to travel alone. My India itinerary included: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur.

Set in an alternate Universe, during a tense stand-off between the riot police and occupy central protestors an unidentified man releases an airborne virus which rapidly infects the entire city within weeks and sets off a chain of events.

Months after the incident, a small group of survivors have sought refuge at the outskirts of the city, on a remote beach near the ocean. But their safe haven is about to be disrupted when a man and his kayak washes ashore, triggering fear and paranoia among them as the possibility of more outsiders discovering their new home arises. They have until nightfall to battle their moral conscience and decide whether to let the man live or, kill him to protect themselves and their new home at any cost.

The dancer/choreographer asked me to create a cold an lonely feeling for the film, so I used a high contrast profile and graded with film convert to get the exact colour and grain.

Valerie is haunted by the precognition of other people's gruesome deaths. After foreseeing her parent's death, and being unable to thwart it, she needed a positive way forward. Mercy seemed the only path. Maybe she could deliver merciful endings? Even exciting or romantic endings... Valerie seeks out the Lotus; a hitman to partner with to orchestrate merciful deaths.

I loved making this trailer. Being in high school, I have limited access to special effects and I liked the way they turned out; unfortunately, I couldn't create a dragon. I would love to go to a film school and make my own feature movies one day.

Slow Jazz music combined with the cinematic look of yellowish, bronze & brownish colored beauty shots of the city. Waiting is a short film from the short story collection, High Stakes.

A dream sequence that follows a young dreamer as she runs from her fears. On her journey, she is able to let go of her inner demons in the literal sense, and accept both the beauty and ugliness in life.

This is a little piece I put together to celebrate one of my favourite times of year, Autumn. Shot in Richmond Park London, one Sunday morning in the beginning of October. Edited on FCPX and graded using FilmConvert.
