My good friend Tyler and I shot this short film on a cruise ship with our families with only what was available to us (hence the reason it is mostly silent with no dialogue!). We shot on a mirrorless camera and one prime lens the whole time to be as inconspicuous as possible, especially when shooting in locations we weren't supposed to be. This made it look like we were just 'taking pictures', but really we were filming movie.

By Mason HunsickerThis was shot one evening during a beautiful sunset over Del Mar, San Diego, California.
My original aim was to film the sun setting over the ocean with my DJI Phantom 2 drone / quadcopter, but the surfers quickly caught my attention and added to the beauty.
This was my first time flying over the ocean and I was captivated by how the surfers, and how the waves and spray were picking up the liquid gold of the sun reflecting in the ocean.
Filmed during two flights with the Phantom 2 with Zenmuse H3-3D and GoPro 3+ black edition with the Snake river prototyping BlurFix Air ND4/CP filter, all in wide mode, on protune & flat in 2.7k.

Here we have a series of aerial shots done on a recent trip back to my tiny little caribbean island of Grenada also known as "Home". It was early morning, maybe 6/7am and i decided to venture to the near by beach called Grand Anse to test out my new drone. This was probably the 3rd time flying. All images captured with the drone and gopro hero 4. After sitting on the footage for a while i finally decided to use it to learn adobe premier pro and also dabble a bit with sfx and sound design. Also my first use of Filmconvert first time.So here is my first attempt at cutting in Premier Pro, sound design and my 3rd or so Drone flight. FOSHAY draws inspiration from the first skyscraper west of the Mississippi, the Foshay Tower, and the man behind the spire.
In his younger years, Wilbur Foshay was an art student with a fond appreciation for the Washington monument. "It is beautiful, but with windows it would be useful." He made his fortune buying public utilities and selling the stocks, using his money to fulfill a lifelong dream.
Completing the tower in 1929, Foshay invited 25,000 guests to an elaborate three-day dedication ceremony. Cabinet members, senators and congressman received all-expenses paid trips. Half-nude dancers entertained. The military gave 19-gun salutes. Each guest received a gold pocket watch. John Philips Sousa conducted music, including a march he wrote just for the occasion.
Two months later, Sousa's $20,000 check bounced. The market crashed. Foshay lost everything. Including the towe

By JuanCharlie Fitzpatrick is the most successful high school basketball coach in Georgia history. While many of his players think of him as a father, his relationship with his own “bookworm” son, Evan, is strained. With the help of his wife, Laura and Evan’s wife, Heather, Charlie determines the best way to connect and bond is to take his son and grandson, Markie, who has just announced he’s dropping out of college to tour with his folk band, to a rustic mountain cabin for a weekend retreat. Only this cabin is the same site where he took his many winning teams to test their mettle over a grueling military-style obstacle course, the same one Evan, as a student never got the chance to complete. This is Charlie’s idea of fun, Evan’s idea of a nightmare, and Markie’s idea of—well he’s young and idealistic; he’s just going with the flow. Over the course of three days, through hilarious moments, soul-searching moments and one experience that frightens them all to the core, the men discover w

By Fran MendiolaStay near to me and I’ll stay near to you -
As near as you are dear to me will do,
Near as the rainbow to the rain,
The west wind to the windowpane,
As fire to the hearth, as dawn to dew.
Stay true to me and I’ll stay true to you -
As true as you are new to me will do,
New as the rainbow in the spray,
Utterly new in every way,
New in the way that what you say is true.
Stay near to me, stay true to me. I’ll stay
As near, as true to you as heart could pray.
Heart never hoped that one might be
Half of the things you are to me -
The dawn, the fire, the rainbow and the day.
