PARIS.MACHINE.LOVE is a tiny short film on a moment of love and compassion between (wo)man and machine, filmed in Paris. The short film is about artificial intelligence and the first ATM/cash machine to gain consciousness - as machines become ever more evolved and connected to the world. The idea being it is that they are coded by men, in a language which is different from ours but would still allow for (human) error - or bugs. As opposed to the traditional view that intelligent machines would be 100% rational entities, this film takes into account human flaws as trait or characters that would be passed on to them. And so therefore the cash machine in the film assumes human-like behaviour and is prone to the same flaws and weaknesses. But the core message is that we don't know what machines will do in the future when they surpass our capabilities - and how we interact with them is likely to influence this as well. I made this video for my beloved wife. Thanks for being my best friend and my soulmate. It's been already 34 weeks and still counting days for our 1st born, hope everything goes well and may God bless our family.

A short film made to a brief for a film challenge. Practicalities dictated some creative choices which then informed the story telling. As much time was spent grading this simple monochrome tale of love and art as would have been were it in colour.

This short is an experience, where it should be produced each part of the plot in 60 seconds.

This film was shot on a Canon 6D over the course of four days in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, with Canon lenses. The color grade was done in FilmConvert Pro and was based on variations of FJ 8543 VD LUT.

Inspired by art of the old masters, we tried to use fashion film as a canvas on which we paint scenes from the lives of women who lost their children. Sadness and pain. Pieta.

The fashion film PIETA was created for the progressive Czech clothing brand ODIVI. The opulent FW18 collection, inspired by street culture and hip-hop aesthetics, blends with fragile poetry. Both of these, to a certain extent, contradictory tendencies create a captivating atmosphere balancing on the edge of a great artistic gesture and a consumer kitsch. As part of a voluntary creative restraint, the whole video is shot exclusively on the Samsung S9 mobile phone without any additional accessories.

Kara returns to her original tribe called the ‘Planters’. They have not seen her in years but suddenly realise that she is not the same person who left them. Kara is adamant that she has returned to save the tribe from imminent extinction but the Planter High Council exercise caution against her hysterical behaviour. Kara then tries to instigate a coup within the tribe with the hope of overthrowing the council hierarchy. Not all Planters are convinced by her claims but by injecting fear into the community chaos ensues. Made with Film Convert

A small homage to James Bond franchise, created entirely by myself. I became a huge fan of 007 since GoldenEye and always wanted to create some kind of a tribute to the greatest spy ever.
All the animation, VFX , compositing, editing and color grading was done by me (using FilmConvert ).

POLISH is a crazy short movie about two Chinese brothers in New York from a triad family. The oldest brother is the boss, and owns all the nail salons in New York... Except one. The youngest, however, is tired of this life, and wants to achieve his dream : to become the best nail artist in the world. He therefore tries to get hired... in the last salon his family doesn't control. Graded completely with FilmConvert and the awesome FJ 8543 VD, the colors are super vivid to get a very "pop" feeling, yet the skin colors (and they are varied) all look amazing and natural. Using film emulation really allowed me to have a saturated, yet balanced picture. Sorry the movie is so long, I hope the first 5 minutes will be enough to give you an idea of the look of the movie.

Post-Human is a scifi proof-of-concept short based on the award-winning and bestselling series of novels by David Simpson. Amazingly, filmed over just three hours by a crew of three, the short depicts the opening of Post-Human, drawing back the curtain on the Post-Human world and letting viewers see the world and characters they’ve only been able to imagine previously. You’ll get a taste of a world where everyone is immortal, have onboard mental “mind’s eye” computers, nanotechnology can make your every dream a reality, and thanks to the magnetic targeted fusion implants every post-human has, everyone can fly (and yep, there’s flying in this short!) But there’s a dark side to this brave new world, including the fact that every post-human is monitored from the inside out, and the one artificial superintelligence running the show might be about to make its first big mistake.

A fashion designer creates a dress that will forever haunt her.

John and Lucy are in the middle of a frantic and chaotic escape with there lives literally hanging in the balance... but from what? who? and why?, will they get away or will they become the PREY. Shot on the GH4 with all drone shots done using a Phantom 2 drone and a GoPro 4. Primary lens was the Sigma 20mm f1.8 EX DG RF Aspherical other lens's used included the canon 50mm 1.8 and some select shots were done using some vintage Zeiss lens's. We used LED lighting panels for all the interior lighting. The film was edited in Premiere and graded in both Da Vinci Resolve and the Lumetri color panel. All shots were finished of using Film Convert. All muzzle flash's and 2d effects were done in After Effects and all 3d work was done using Autodesk Maya.
