By Robin DeMy name is Gabe Sanchez, I'm 17 years old and recently I went to London, England. On the trip I took it upon myself to create a film illustrating small moments in the lives of everyday people who live there. The film is meant to be an observation of the place and the people in "snapshots" as the title suggests. It also includes a segment shot in Brighton. The entire film was shot internally on the GH4, using the Panasonic 12-35mm f2.8 and the GH4's V-Log L profile. Graded with FilmConvert in premiere pro using the FJ 8543 VD stock.

By dfmgraphicsTimur Tugalev and Sara Izzi , digital nomads and authors of the Travel blog The Lost Avocado.com document for the first time the incredible country of Kyrgyzstan. From Bishkek, Capital of Kyrgyzstan, to the dreaming sceneries of the lake of Song Köl, from Orto Tokoy, a reservoir of turquoise water in the Kochkor District, up to Issik Kul, UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and Karakol, with its canyons, wild parks and colourful markets. The seams of the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, drawn by a gentle black pencil, the white sand that embrace alpine lakes lashed by the September breeze, create a magnificent sight that leaves you breathless. We hope you enjoy the fascinating landscapes of Kyrgyzstan, a Central Asian gem yet to be discovered.
By Timur Tugalev and Sara IzziSo, there was this box that was really important to Luke & Amy. They had a tradition, in his family, of putting two bottles of wine and two love letters into that box that they would read every year on their anniversary. They would then re-fill the box with two new bottles and two new letters for the next year. How cool is that!? Not to mention, the box is pretty epic. These kids were a lot of fun and very in love!

By Adam Paul VerityLynn's battle with breast cancer at the age of 21 was an unexpected turning point in her life. Listen to how she and her husband prayerfully overcame this battle together bonded in love and grace. This project was shot entirely on the Panasonic GH4. Interviews were shot in 4K with a single light source, b-roll was mostly shot in 1080p at 48fps. I feel that 48fps has been a sweet spot for smooth, natural looking slow motion (personal preference of course). Finished with filmconvert! Thanks for watching everyone.
By John SmithI spent a great weekend with friends in a cottage in North Karelia in Finland. We played Finnish folk game Mölkky, fried pancakes, went to the sauna, as well as enjoyed being together and picturesque landscape. Special thanks to my friends: Anni, Emilia L., Salla, Henna, Emilia S., Tuomo and Jussi The whole video was shot completely handheld on my new mid-range mirrorless camera Sony A6300.
By Ville HeiskanenThe Maynard School relaunched their brand with a digital, print and cinema campaign ‘Made for Girls’. This 40” cinema commercial was mirrored by a YouTube pre-roll and social media campaign. Strong imagery working in tandem with a voice over drive the narrative. During the 4-day shoot some scenarios were set up for logistical reasons, but we wanted the scenes to feel honest so filmed actual lessons (in brief 30-minute slots to minimise academic disruption). Logistically challenging for producer/director Jason Purvis and the team at the school – but it all came together, and we’re dead chuffed with the result.

By K L"Make Your Seconds Count" is a commercial for Poplar Springs- A resort style spa located an hour south of Washington DC. We were tasked with creating both broadcast and web versions of the final video. This is the web cut that became the client's most popular social media post of all time. We really enjoyed making it and we hope you enjoy watching it. FilmConvert really helped unify the final look. Did I mention that it was a 24 hour turnaround to first cut?

By Rowan MillerThis short doc is part of a series of small films that we developed for the Kingston Accommodation Partners in Kingston, Ontario. This short profiles Marney McDiarmid on her creative process, and why she chooses Kingston as her home. We developed the shooting style, using a combination of handheld and lens whacking. FilmConvert allowed us to get the rough film look we wanted in the end. ***We used two film stocks. IL FN FP and FJ 8543 VD to get the contrasting looks.***

By Alize StudioPetter lived at a remote place called Mefjord on the Island of Sørøya for more then 40 years all by himself. It took him nearly half a century to build a road to his house - but he never owned a car. He died in 2014, but the place looks as he still lives there.
By Christoph KirchnerLast Fall, on a crisp autumn evening in Oct, I had the pleasure of capturing Meghan & Matthew Rhoades wedding at Oxon Hill Manor in Maryland. Working alongside talented photog, Kate Palker, and her great stable of shooters from Pearly Kate Photography, I was able to record every milestone of the big day. Running the show was Tori from Candy + Company, making sure the whole event came together perfectly. Last but not least, Meghan and Matthew's friends and family came out in full force to support their loved ones. And the trailer above is mere snapshot of the love and affection that went into making such a lovely day possible.

By michael smithThe artist sent me an early mix of this track while I was on the road. I listened to the song for an hour straight, and had really vivid shots already in my head from the song and knew we had to give it an old-style treatment like this. I wanted a subtle and almost haunting narrative, set underneath beautiful southern-summer imagery. The artist was totally on board and let me follow my own vision for it. I love how it came out, and I really hope you enjoy it! This was a really intimate shoot- I shot and put everything together myself with no crew, and almost no artificial lighting. Props were made by hand, and actors were all volunteers. We shot this over a few different days here in the Nashville, TN area. Everything was shot on the Blackmagic Ursa Mini 4.6K with Sigma Art 18-35 and 50-100 1.8 zooms. Graded and edited in Resolve using Filmconvert!
By Chris StantonAfter 5 years since their Fat Beats full length debut, Eternia & MoSS return with "Day & Night". Featured on MoSS's album "Marching to the Sound of My Own Drum", MoSS provides a hypnotizing and haunting sonic backdrop as Eternia struggles between spirit and flesh in her signature soul-excavating style. "Day & Night" explores the war going on inside every person, for "what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do" (St. Paul). The outcome of the battle is left unknown, as Eternia's chorus prays, "Don't let the sun set on me..." Director Ian Johnson cinematically explores themes of darkness vs. light, lust, and the multiplicity of one being. The visuals, as hypnotizing as MoSS's production, also pays homage to MoSS's psychedelic classic rock musicality in the colouring, editing, and aesthetic styling.

By Nicholas Fletcher"Motivation Letter through the Alps" is a story, about a 1215 kms bicycle ride from Toulouse in the south of France to the city of Zurich in northeastern of Switzerland, crossing 2500 mts altitude in the Alps, to deliver by hand a motivation letter in three sports institutions: UEFA in Nyon, International Olympic Committee in Lausanne and FIFA in Zurich. Is a story without more pretensions, than being an open testimony of a person like you and like millions of others who pedal daily with determination to make their dreams come true. For me is a metaphor of life. I believe that we all have our own dreams that drive us to take our bicycle in one direction of the path of life. Our effort and determination is the daily pedaling needed to keep moving forward, and our fears and insecurities that we face on the road seem to be the great peaks of the Alps that I want to overcome them. This is not a story about winning or losing, but about having the courage to pursue our dreams. Mo

By IsaacSometimes inspiring others to conservation starts with the simple act of giving them a place to walk. That's one of the driving forces which compelled Matthew Christiansen to spend this past summer digging trenches, cutting overgrowth, and maintaining the vast network of trails in the Monongahela National Forest located in West Virginia. In partnership with the Student Conservation Association and the U.S. Forest Service, Matthew set out to make his mark on the very lands which helped inspire his path to the study of environmental science. But as it goes with the outdoors, Matthew soon discovered the deeper truths of how a simple shovel and a pickaxe can move others to action.

By DylanOver a year ago, Music & Arts began developing its very first brand commercial. With big ideas and little resources, we kept circling back on the phrase "Hold On." To us, in relation to music, it had multiple meanings. On one hand, it was quite literal: Hold on to your instrument. On the other hand, it was wonderfully etherial: Once music takes hold of your life...hold on! Music changes everything. Satisfied with both meanings, we set out to tell that story using only hands. Over the course of 4 weeks, we were fortunate enough to shoot at a multitude of Music & Arts retail locations, with a handful of music students at Berkeley Springs Highschool in WV, and at the prestigious Strathmore Music Center in Bethesda, MD. Finally, bookending the piece, is a simple story of a father, a daughter, and the power of holding on to one's very first musical instrument. Not only does music change everything. It enriches as well.
