An early labour of love project completed over 8x weekends for Sydney post-rock band Sleepmakewaves. I met Alex from SMW at a Brisbane gig and from there we collaborated to make this simple story about a frustrated scientist converting his thoughts into reality. Building a machine that would allow him to travel as a mysterious energy. Filmed in my old tool shed out in the sticks and out and around the area - this project was completed over 8x weekends with over 30+ visual effects shots.

Product video we did for an online company that teaches maths to children with games. We tried to maintain the image as clean as possible while giving an organic look and nice colors. We also tried to be very careful with skin tones. Every screen was replaced in After Effects with the problems and games that the client wanted to appear.

We spent the last week of this season up north at the Levi ski resort and got to enjoy everything you might expect from the Finnish spring. The insane Wappu celebrations, two-hour-long sunsets, slushy snow and occasional unexpected rain storms. The Levi snow park crew was on point and built a mellow but doubleable kicker and a the fat-tube-drop-rail for the Estonians to shred. Big thanks to everyone involved and let's hope the audio won't get muted!

My friends and I shot a commercial for Traverse City Tourism. The concept was, "People come to Traverse City because there is something to do at every corner".

This was a Chef's Table inspired project for a local Venetian baccaro style restaurant. We wanted to really focus on what makes the restaurant special, details details and more details. We tried to convey the feeling of the experience through the mix of color, film grain to play off the textures and sound.

A struggling writer finds himself being stalked. Instead of going to the authorities, the writer uses this experience as writing material for a new novel. Things quickly turn sinister when the writer is drawn deep into the stalker's dark world.

A brand video for The Hood Group, a consulting firm specializing in high stakes performance and executive coaching. My goal was to find a unique way to visualize how high stakes performers stand out from the crowd. A good promotional video will not just inform you but also touch your emotions and I hope I was able to achieve that.

I first noticed these guys due to their incredible aura and energy both in their live show and just in general social interaction. There's something very special and explosive brewing under the surface with these guys, and I knew we had to capture that on camera for this equally special and explosive track. We were operating on a paperthin budget, and we had only 24hr window to shoot everything, as I was traveling from Nashville to their small hometown in rural Indiana to shoot this between work shifts. Nevertheless, we got everything we wanted in the can after a long 14hr day of shooting, and the edit came together perfectly. I wanted to use a lot of organic effects to coincide with the guys' organic energy (rather than post effects), such as lens whacking, an over-the-head camera flip (about halfway through), and a few other little things you'll notice throughout the video. I shot a good deal of this using the DJI Ronin M, which really helped give this video the ethereal, almost drea

Those were the days when I was only 13 and afraid to go out of the house even with my family. I knew if I would step out and he would be standing right there to give me horrendous look. Who was he? I had no idea. He was a man of almost 25 who always welcomed me with a luring gaze. I was scared because I just didn’t want some stranger to stop me in the street, and it was the scariest moment for me when he stopped me. He claimed that he loved me and threatened that if I would reject his proposal he would make my life like a hell. In those three years there wasn’t a single day when he was not in the street. story about the sad faced musicians against environmental damage. The music video tells the story of human relationship with nature, and trees as a source of human life. tree as a human shelter, playing, laughing happily. This video describes the expression of the soul of the musician, more to what they feel, therefore, this video made with double exposure in post-pro then using film convert before the grading to get the camera colour back then apply once again film convert for final look..

A short comedic tragedy originally made as a school project.

Filmed in London, UK with the NHS staff (National Health Service) at King's College Hospital. Strong is a song about Rony's experience of working in hospitals, where the staff are often pushed to the edge, working long shifts and dealing with matters of life and death... which sometimes lead people to depression when the pressure is just too much. Rony was once told by a fellow doctor to just "man up" and leave his feelings aside. He thought otherwise and wrote this song instead, a powerful folk ballad about manning up to your emotions, accepting and facing them. That's what being strong should be about.

Great day riding bike in the woods

Exploration is in the blood of some people. I'd been struggling with the decision to settle down into a career or drop it all in order to travel the world. I confided in my father and he let me in on a family secret -- one that was withheld from him on the fear he would repeat the actions of our ancestor. I used Filmconvert's Plrd600 filter to give my video a sun bleached 16mm family album feel.

Nothing says good old quality like film, and that is why I decided to shoot this piece with an old Helios44 and Proskar-16 anamorphic setup, and grade it with FilmConvert, to really gave me the look I was going for. Cannot remember which Film Stock I used though, but think it was FJ 8543 VD, which is one of my favorites.

In Northern Spain the autonomous community of Galicia provides some of the most striking landscapes in Spain. From the beautiful mountains and lush forests inland to the unique series of bay-like inlets around the coast (known colloquially as 'rías'). These rías provide the surfers in Galicia with amazing conditions no matter the direction of the wind or the swell. Galicians know what makes their home so special, we wanted to share that with the rest of the world.

Survivor is the new video for Mic Righteous's first ever single Survivor, taken from Mic's Debut album Dreamland! Shot in Northampton, England Survivor is an abstract view of how averting from bad decisions in life while battling through daily temptations can ultimately make you a Survivor. When all of us at GiantDwarf first heard the track survivor we new we had a special project and journey ahead of us. With Tones melodic voice and production combined with Mic Righteous incredible lyrics we new we needed to come up with something to compliment what was already an epic project. So after numerous brainstorming sessions and and concepts we were very happy when we reached what we thought was the perfect video idea to go with the survivor track. The artist and his management loved the treatment and off we went to shoot the video. We shot the majority of the video on the Canon 5d mk3 and used a Set of Carl Zeiss Prime Lenses to capture the cinematic look that the artist had reques

We all have a hometown, somewhere that made us who we are, a place that stirs up dust inside of us. A hometown is where we first found our voice, learned what it meant to be disappointed, where we surprised ourselves for the first time and maybe even proved ourselves wrong. Home is a place we leave and eventually come back to. And when we come back, it’s never the same. Sometimes it’s the place that’s changed, but most of the time, it’s us. We leave our hometown full of ideas about the world that aren’t our own and spend time working towards things that ultimately lead us to dead ends. Part of finding what success looks like for any of us is walking away from those things that hold us back, being real with ourselves about where we’ve come from and having the courage to ask ourselves, “What now?”
