One of the most rewarding and honoring parts of being a wedding filmmaker is when you are hired again and again to film for a family. After capturing her sister’s wedding several years ago and then multiple family functions through the years - Christina and her lovely family brought us back - this time to New York City and the grand-famous Cipriani Wall Street. Teaming up with my lovely and talented wife Vanessa Joy of Vanessa Joy Photography made this a double-treat and twice as nice. I think it’s safe to say that Christina’s father Mario brings the emotion to new heights in this theatrical trailer.

I shot on a Panasonic GH4 in 4k with a Baby Hypergonar anamorphic lens. I used Olympus Zuiko Pen F lens as my taking lens (38mm F1.9, 70mm F2 and the 100mm F3.5). I used a custom Baby Hypergonar Jacket from Redstan.com with 2 Tokina +0.4 achromatic diopters and a Narumi +3 diopter for close up shots.

Edited in Adobe Premiere and colored with Magic Bullet Colorista III and Film Convert

An accurate portrayal of Surnames being introduced to Medieval England, reenacted by New Zealanders.

CONATUS is the name of the power that makes us act and strive moves our bodies according to their affinity. It also moves a couple through this short film, back together and apart. Walking the thin line between romance and trespass we have to ask ourselves: Don´t we all call things good, because we secretly want to do them? Go ahead and find the rhythm of your love. And give me the death that I need. Baby. The film explores the topic of the female dead body and how it is shown on screen: exposed, conventionally attractive and sexualized despite its lifelessness. Growing increasingly frustrated with this passive depiction, the director chose to revive the dead woman, so she could speak her mind and regain some agency.

In this short film a dancer dances with herself. Both the black and the white dancer is Asuka Watanabe, they are combined in the editing. Part of the Alienation dance film project by John Twigt.

A teenage girl from an abusive conservative home finds and unlikely friend in her refugee neighbor.

For the first time in company history, the pilots of Southwest Airlines stand up in unity to picket and speak out during protracted contract negotiations.

“Control” is a visual representation of a single point of view from one perspective, detaching an element of communication in order to portray the situation silently. The second part will be released on the album You and Everything Blue, the audio will differ and will give the opportunity to listen from the other perspective, both halves of the same narrative.

The aim of the piece is to show the intricacy, precision workmanship and thought that goes into manufacturing the designs of the COZÌ design partnership. Yuval and Ofir (the designers) took us with them behind the scenes, and the color highlights the textures, materials, tools and machinery used in the fabrication process. The use of FilmConvert gave us an organic look, emphasized textures and differentiated the warm wood and the cool metals. We also tried to add contrast and enhance the dramatic lighting, and showcase the final design in all its glory.

Captured in the Magic City's Spring Garden neighborhood and starring local scenesters Jessy Nite, Nick Lobo, Magnus Sodamin and the members of the notorious Jacuzzi Boys; Moon stars in the role of his own Cracker Jack alter ego in a trajectory that mirrors Rick's own addiction struggles in a cinema short of the absurd. The earnest and energetic sound of Rick Moon and a rhythm section supplied by Luis Del Valle of Buscabulla becomes the soundtrack for a surprise party, a bust, an oddball trial and strange rituals complete with a house party performance that elevates our anti-hero to states of higher consciousness and well being.

Video I realized for the Crossfit competition East Side Classic Winter Edition 2020 in Sherbrooke in collaboration with Fonctions Optimum & l'Usine Crossfit Sherbrooke. First time ever using the FilmConvert Nitrate Plugin and I loved it. The plugin is really more than just a simple lut applied to your footage. I used the KD 5207 Vis3 film stock with the GH5 Cine-D color profile ! Camera : Panasonic GH5 Lenses : Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 & Tamron 24-70mm F/2.8 G2

Since 2003, Bernd Schittenhelm has been managing the tenth generation over 300 years of the family business as a blacksmith in Germany. In summer 2020 Bernd Schittenhelm forged a heart out of iron with masterly craftsmanship. Anita Schittenhelm covered it with 24 carat gold; the sculptor Eugen Lothar Hirneise created the base for it. The work will be auctioned by Volker Siegle on October 16, 2020 as part of the business weeks for the Boeblingen region.
