Having fun in Kyushu (九州) Japan with a DJI Phantom 4. While on my recent trip to Kyushu, I explored the seaside and its surrounding crystal-clear blue waters.

Commercial for Big Boys Kainan in Kent WA! Big Boys Kainan started as a food truck and gained so much popularity that they decided to open up a restaurant. We wanted to create a commercial showcasing their great food but also add in their funny side with a voiceover from the owner. Filmed with a Sony FS7 and graded with FilmConvert!

The first in a series of unofficial music videos, that are not commissioned or connected to the artist. These are created to pay homage to songs that didn't get an official video release. This story was based on modelling and photography websites that act as hunting grounds for predators looking to take advantage of models who believe they are advancing career, when they are really entering a terrible situation. Cowboy Jesus, as some jokingly have called him, bestows trust and bravery into the horse. He reflects on his own struggles and how those difficulties shaped the horseman he is today. There is quiet therapy in horses. We were honored to spend some time with Joel and shed light on his humbled character.

This was a Chef's Table inspired project for a local Venetian baccaro style restaurant. We wanted to really focus on what makes the restaurant special, details details and more details. We tried to convey the feeling of the experience through the mix of color, film grain to play off the textures and sound.

Survivor is the new video for Mic Righteous's first ever single Survivor, taken from Mic's Debut album Dreamland! Shot in Northampton, England Survivor is an abstract view of how averting from bad decisions in life while battling through daily temptations can ultimately make you a Survivor. When all of us at GiantDwarf first heard the track survivor we new we had a special project and journey ahead of us. With Tones melodic voice and production combined with Mic Righteous incredible lyrics we new we needed to come up with something to compliment what was already an epic project. So after numerous brainstorming sessions and and concepts we were very happy when we reached what we thought was the perfect video idea to go with the survivor track. The artist and his management loved the treatment and off we went to shoot the video. We shot the majority of the video on the Canon 5d mk3 and used a Set of Carl Zeiss Prime Lenses to capture the cinematic look that the artist had reques

A struggling writer finds himself being stalked. Instead of going to the authorities, the writer uses this experience as writing material for a new novel. Things quickly turn sinister when the writer is drawn deep into the stalker's dark world.

An 18-year-old high school graduate comes home after school to find out his mother has arranged a job interview for him — without his permission. A short film about taking control of our lives by making proactive decisions.

Short video for VFX course in film school. Shot on a Sony a7S II and the Mitakon 50mm f/0.95 in 4K with S-Gamut3.Cine/S-Log3. I was manly trying out After Effects' own 3D Camera Tracker. Graded in DaVinci Resolve after applying the wonderful Neat Video noise reduction and FilmConvert. Huge thanks to my brother and his four clones for helping me with the shoot.

I love the sense of mystery you can discover in the quieter and less traveled corners of a city. The sidestreets and alleys. The doorways and the storefronts. And of course, the graffiti and looming skyscrapers that seem to appear no matter how far you drift off the beaten path. Even in Manhattan, you can still find these quiet, little spots, especially after dark when there are less bodies to cross your frame. Despite the title, there were actually TWO islands in the video, since I the opening daylight shots were done in Williamsburg. Everything else was filmed in Manhattan over several days in late August and early September.

Filmed on GH4 in Cinema 4K, in tweaked version of Matt Mosher's M-log settings (same as those found here http://blog.planet5d.com/2015/05/frustrated-with-no-v-log-l-for-your-gh4-try-matthew-moshers-m-log-cinematic-look-instead/, except I left Master Pedestal at 0).

Only lens used was Canon 35mm USM f2 IS lens (IS turned off),

Summer at last. The beaches are overflowing; the rides are running, and fireworks light up the nighttime air. Winter lasts a lifetime; summer is but a fleeting dream. This is a tribute to another passing of the season that seems to be gone before it even begins. For some it will be their first, and for others it will be their last. But here in New York, it's just one more summer...

THE LOWEST PLACE ON EARTH - The Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth in any land mass (417 meters below sea level, to be exact). The quantity of water that evaporates from it is greater than that which flows into it, such that this body of water has the highest concentration of salt in the world. It is called the Dead Sea because its salinity prevents the existence of any life forms in the lake.
