English synopsis:
The eleven year old Alex is obsessed by the violent cartoonshow Jack Thompson: Fighting Evil. In his imaginative world Alex fights side-by-side with Jack Thompson against the Blue Jumpsuit Army led by General Horrid. But the boundaries between fantasy and reality keeps getting thinner when Alex meets Jack outside of his fantasy world.

I shot this as an experiment while driving to see if I could collect footage and edit together a loose storyline out of it. It was shot in the dead of winter in the midwest at night, so I really wanted to bring out the overall cold color instead of the yellow overhead freeway lamps, as well as the grain of winter.

Editing on a friend's machine, I was able to use FilmConvert Pro with the Kodak Vision 3 5207 stock to capture that look that was best for the story.

Wir haben diese Herausforderung besonders ernst genommen und auch nur innerhalb dieses Zeitraums sowohl alle Requisiten und Drehorte organisiert, als auch die Musik komponiert und eingespielt.

Gedreht wurde mit einer Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4 und einer Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX7. Teilweise kam ein SLR Magic Anamorphot zum Einsatz. Für das Grading wurde FilmConvert mit der Einstellung Kodak Vision 3 5207 verwendet.

I somehow made it down to the EU launch event for the NVIDIA Shield TV/Console and also managed to interview the Director of Technical Product Marketing for Shield on this cool new Android TV based streaming box.
