In December we visited Japan, which had been on our minds for quite some time. Despite having a bit of an idea of what this country might be like, (hearing from friends and having seen photos and videos), nothing could have prepared us for it. We completely fell in love with Japan. Its peaceful and quiet feel, its polite and respectful people, its culture and amazing scenery.

By Jevgenij TichonovWith our amazing small crew, most talented high school students and a small girl, we successfully created a deep and heartfelt story from the incredible musician, Cava Menzies. With a 17hr all day shoot by the pacific coast, it was freezing, tiring but fully inspired by the music. A story that flows into an experience that a teacher at an arts school witnessed 2 of her students loss. A story on how being a woman is the hardest role in humanity but proves to be be strongest vessel in our lives. This is what we've created so enjoy!

One of those things? It takes a LOT of time, both on the shooting day and 20 some-odd hours in the cutting room ediiting away. I'm glad I did it, because I'm very proud of what came out of it!

By Lucas CamussoThe music video for “Entwined” is a collaboration with Austrian filmmaker Max Rino, and it features a stunning Tim Burton-like world. “We didn`t want to create an everyday music video with continuous lip-sync and long performance parts,” said Clemens Engert of Alien Hand Syndrome, “we were aiming for something much more cinematic. So we had this idea of going into the Vienna Woods and playing with all those fascinating little elements we found there and incorporate them into the clip. It’s all about the combination of the musical and visual atmosphere and building a unified whole.”

They lead him from his rustic thuringian home to the seemingly abstract musical cultures of Iran, the United States and Russia to circle around and ultimately arrive back at himself. In this manner the single episodes try in their own way to find answers to the questions at the beginning: How can you grasp music in a documentary context? For the film-maker Patrick Richter the search for certain moments becomes the main tool: The next note could very we
