A lot of wind, waves, sand, clouds and a little bit of sunshine... but what a lovely time it was on the Danish Riviera with the kids.

This summer we spent the holidays in Denmark. I took this as an occasion to try out the video mode of the Iphone SE. With FilmicPro, Selfiestick and an underwater housing it could go. The recordings are recorded almost completely without a tripod. For me it was a praxistest, which the iphone very well existed. An amazing love story begins when the city worker Rustam notices Elmira at London Bridge. Then he approaches her and suggests to spend a day together getting to know each other. Their friendship blossoms as they travel through London and end up in Durdle Door, Bournemouth. It gives them more intimate environment and allows the time on their own.

There is only that moment, and the incredible certainty that everything under the sun has been written by one hand only. Ana Rita & Ivano are used to fresh starts. They've been living the dream travelling from place to place, working here and there as designers, musicians and visual artists. We caught them in Porto, their latest stop, and walked with them while they explore this wonderful city and it's hidden secrets.

I took a trip to Didcot Railway Centre in Oxfordshire hoping to get some interesting shots. I was in luck as some of the staff were being trained to drive a little loco. Probably one of the most pleasant afternoons I have ever spent!

This film was graded using the awesome Film Convert software which turns red footage in to something really special! The music is from royltyfreekings.com.

Camera - Red Epic
Lenses - Canon 100-400mm L Series, Olympus Zuiko 16mm + 50mm primes.

My setup was very simple. The Epic had the battery side grip and a 5" monitor + a few Red Volt batteries and 3 X 128gb mags. I also had a carbon fibre Manfrotto tripod which is both light and strong. The Epic is surprisingly easy to use and despite filming in 5K the footage is easy to edit and grade!

Dear filmconvert Team and Judges, This film was also a Project for my filmschool. The Story is full of irony. In my School, we have not typical grades, we have 0-100%. And I wanted to Show my teacher what would happen with him, when he doesn't give me a perfect score for this Project. The Actor in this Music Video Plays my teacher, who was kidnapped from a fictional Person called "Die Maske" (The Mask), who takes him to a Dream world, where he terrorises him so Long, so that he will give me the perfect score. And after this everyone is happy.

I made this video to sponsor the Distinguished Gentlemans Ride (location Leeuwarden) to promote their good cause and as a call to action. It was so much fun to do but it also was al lot of work doing it by myself (script, camera, lights, editing). Luckily the "actors" where very so easy to work with (they are from the organisation by the way). Filmconvert is always my first go to in colorgrading and especially with this project which has a strong vintage feel with all these classic bikes! I hope you enjoy the video, it has a serious message but we tried to bring it with a little wink (don't know if this is an English saying as well :-) )

I run a 'technology' youtube channel which i am using as a way to build my portfolio in cinematography. I want to enter more narrative work but my network is painfully small. I've been pushing myself for over a year with the channel and coming across something unique as the Phantom 4 drone from DJI, i wanted to create something special. This is a product review but entwined with a narrative story. All shot, edited, graded, sound designed by myself. Thank you

Shot in just one day and using FilmConvert for color-grading, this touching film is about the tragedy of a young life lost, opportunities missed and the need for “attention, attention (to be) paid”. Ami, 30’s, visits his severely ill brother, Lavi in hospital. Lavi is terrified and the two share a most meaningful hug. Ami barely notices the negligence that his brother continuously suffers and when he arrives later at night Lavi is no longer there. Discovering Lavi’s notes left behind, Ami is left with a choice as to how to deal with his legacy...

This short is dedicated to "Jungle Life" a pinball I live with for 25 years.
