With the backdrop of a country in a state of sociopolitical upheaval, 'ARK' is a short film made with UK trip-hop band Haelos, shot during a tour across eleven US states and Canada in 2019.

This music video has African roots- it was shot in an abandoned amusement park in the lowest point on Earth (The Dead Sea), in scorching heat. The use of color is both in controlling the harsh light and changing conditions, as well as in establishing the esthetics and vibe. Color even plays a rhythmic role here, in timed changes on beats- most work was done freestyle and jazzy, following the example of the music. The sun is prominent in setting the mood of this video, and everything is HOT! We went for a vintage, cross-processed look, with the heaviest grain we could muster, and some psychedelic color effects thrown in for good measure. The clean digital imagery was roughed-up to become as grungy and organic as possible, and the video is very high key, up to the point of over-exposure.

This is the story of two lovers leaving in a world that forbid their love.

We met Aurora last winter, just before her show in Paris. We did one take, in a bar on a lunch break. It went smooth and magical :)

This is an entry in the FilmConvert Cinematography competition for 2015. Genre: documentary.

It was filmed at Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps in Poland.

The film was shot using a Sony FS100 camera mounted on a Manfrotto video monopod. It was edited in FCP X and colour-graded using FilmConvert. The music, "La Cathédrale des Livres", was composed by Jürgen Knieper and used by Wim Wenders in his film "Wings of Desire".

The year 2015 marks the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the camps by Soviet troops in January 1945.

A visual exploration of some of Australia's most iconic spots and not so often explored rural locations. Starting with helicopter footage of Sydney's picturesque harbor, this journey takes us to the Blue Mountains, the sheep shearing sheds of rural NSW, out to the track for some country horse racing, and back up with the breathtaking night skies of outback Australia. I hope you enjoy Wonderland Australia as much as I enjoyed making it.

We decided to travel to the forgotten comunity of Avalos in the north of Mexico which had one of the biggest foundries in the world more than 120 years ago. Nowadays its a forbidden and dangerous place to visit because of the high concentrations of Arsenic, Lead, Cadmium and several other pollutants in the zone. Impressive display of beauty in such decaying constructions.

This video is an hommage to cinema- Bollywood meets Hollywood. The poor cleaner at the hairdresser’s meets the glamorous filmstar. His scene is emulating 50’s Indian and Arab films- faded, heavy grain, yellow highlights. When the woman of his dreams enters the barbershop, she brings with her a touch of Hollywood glamour- cinemascope, lush colors, and a remapping of the entire color palette- the RGB primaries become CMY, the fading effect is lifted, and the entire tonality emulates the classic film stocks of the 1950’s U.S. The color, in essence, is the story- painting the mundane reality in rich hues.

Awoken in the middle of the night, an angst ridden teenager must decide whether to leave his small town with his best friend or stay to support his family.

Pengerupukan day takes place every 420 days, which is on the ninth dark moon of Bali’s lunar calendar. It is a day when every village on Bali will do sacrification rituals to neutralize the negative energy. It usually takes place on the main crossroad of the village which is believed to be the zero spot of the balance. The negative energy which is represented as Evil will be invited and assembled, the youths will create a figure of evil or giants for months as the negative energy symbol. They will carry the figure of evil or giants around the village to invite all negative to the centre of rituals where they will be peaced or be neutralized in order to not disturb the peacefulness of the people’s life. The Pengerupukan is done one day before the Saka new year or The Silent Day where Balinese people do four prohibitions to appreciate the nature as well as to do self-control for one day (24 hours) starting from 6 am to 6 am of the next day. Norway wants to give Finland a mountain for its birthday. Bjørn Geirr Harsson is facing an uphill legal battle for an arctic mountain-sized birthday present between neighboring countries. Bjørn, a retired geophysicist of the Norwegian Mapping Authority, had an idea to fix an anomaly along the border between Norway and Finland, and give Finland what would be its tallest mountain for it’s 100th birthday. Considering the tumultuous history of international boundaries, this would be an unprecedented show of kindness between countries. But how exactly does one give away a mountain?

Two beatboxers struggle to reconcile their artistic passions with their need to make a living. Living in Germany, beatboxers Chris Bresgen aka "Tash" and Robin Calderolla aka "Babeli" live at opposite ends of the professional spectrum. While Chris works a steady job and makes a good salary, Babeli has been a professional beatboxer for over 10 years. Both struggle to make a living while keeping up with their ultimate passion.

A short film that combines a heartful story – as mostly told in feature films – with the look and feel of a cinematic high fashion TV commercial. The film was shot over the course of a week in October 2016, under the wonderful warmth of the Andalusian sun in picturesque Spain. The story revolves around a young woman and her two male counterparts, fiercely entangled in a play of reality and imagination – while dressed in Gucci, Jil Sander and Maison Martin Margiela. Two competing motives: desire vs. the pursuit of finding true self. Be cautious, things may not be as they appear!
