I was blown away by the rawness of Iceland the first time I went backpacking in Iceland. I knew I had to return. The following year, I went back solo, drove the Ring Road, and captured these images.

Hilton and Danny have a strong connection with Joshua Tree. In the film, you can see a polaroid of them from a prior visit stuck in the frame of a poster in room 8 of the Joshua Tree Inn where Danny got ready. The legend of Gram Parsons drew the music-loving couple to Joshua Tree, and as Cap Rock in the national park plays a big part in the Parsons story, that’s where they decided to get hitched. We shot a roll of Super 8 film for Hilton and Danny as the fun retro vibe really fit them and their connection to the history and legends of the area. This cut in with the video footage we shot for one of our first hybrid film/videos. Video footage graded with FilmConvert.

While retaining the youthful enthusiasm and touching naivety of their first EPs Empty Space and Never Enough, these eternal High School Lovers have inexorably grown older and they developped a more reflective songwriting, fully embracing their bashful dandies looks on a humble and relentless quest for pop beauty. "HOLIDAY" is the second single from their self-titled album to be released on October, which narrates the identity crisis and tribulations on the winding road to adulthood of these beautiful losers, who are committed to turning stunning failures and deep anguish into uplifting feel good songs.

The outdoor scene are from our stock and have been filmed a while ago with a Sony a6000 and a GoPro Hero 4 Silver (drone scene).

HOLLOKO is a Paloc ethnographic village in Hungary/Europe, part of the WORLD HERITAGE. It's name means 'RAVEN STONE' in Hungarian. The village considered the MOST photographed village in Hungary, located approximately 57 miles from Budapest, the capital of Hungary. This remarkable place has traditionally been in habited by PALOC people. PALOC speak an old dialect of Hungarian and have preserved their characteristic architecture and their fold costumes. Recognition of the cultural significance of the settlement was given in 1987 when Holloko was the first village in the WORLD to be added to UNESCO's world Heritage List. The village, which lies in a small valley, has burned down several times ( the last time was back in 1909 ) but each time the inhabitants rebuilt their houses in almost the same shape and forms. A short 3-min doco about the gifted custom moped & bike builders Holy Spokes and their wild bunch of motor heads. I challenged myself to create a documentary without quotes, trying to captures the essence of what makes these motor heads tick without words. During the shoot it struck me that their way of life somehow resembles the 4 stages of life in Hinduism, hence the expression Mopedism in the title. Btw: The bylines of the chapter titles are in slangy Swiss German, translating the English main titles with a slight irony - unfortunately this cannot be adequately translated into English without getting lost in translation.

I'd wanted to try and recreate the mirror scene from the movie 'Contact' for years and finally found a week where it made sense to try it. It took way more work than I imagined but turned out really neat.

Home lives inside us depicts the reality of four homeless people through objects that are part of the environment they live in. Seen from a different angle, these objects show what can still be considered “home” in the lives of Aloísio, Marlon, Lenice and Alex. These four citizens are invisible to society, but these objects reveal the desire for humanization expressed in their improvised homes, among a large city’s many adversities With an unpublished text by Tarso de Melo, a distinguished poet of the latest writers’ generation of São Paulo, Home lives inside us is an extremely urban narrative, simultaneously raw and sensitive. In it, objects represent one of contemporaneity’s most serious problems: housing, in a context in which human beings are disposable objects, often invisible.

What is a world with no sound? How do you communicate? What is the reality you create? Witness the incredible story of a young girl who grappled with these very questions in a fundraiser film for Home Of Hope Inc, a social enterprise based in California, USA.

This film is a self reflection on the feeling one gets from skiing. An attempt to capture the mindset for why we subject our physical and metaphysical selves to the elements and the unknown. A study of expression and passion. It is a response to life changing experiences shared with loved ones, all while rooted in the outdoors. "Home Wordd II" is particularly special to me considering I shot it prior to sustaining a traumatic brain injury, and completed the project concurrently with my healing process. The release of this piece is truly representative of not just returning to where I was before the injury, but celebrating the growth which has occurred from it. This film is as much a part of myself as it is a piece of the people I am surrounded by, nothing but endless love for everyone in this video and for those who made it possible.
