This footage from a open-pit coal mine in Germany was taken on one late afternoon in March 2014. It gives a brief impression of a longtime documentary about this coal mine near the city Cologne. The tilt-effect was invariably achieved by using a 30 years old large format camera (Sinar f) and a Rodenstock lens 180mm/5,6. Slightly color graded with Filmconvert Pro (Settings Landscape, Velvia) and due to the strong wind stabilized in AE and separately recorded sound.

By Arthur OppenländerIt took over a year to shoot the whole process at this small, family horticulture. Starting from seeding and ending up at the harvesting. Me an my client wanted to show how the work at horticulture looks like from the inside. How many people are involved in the process and how much effort it takes to grow the plants. We wanted to showcase the full season with the imapacts of the conditions and the weather. The whole video was filmed by myself no other videographer was involved. Same with editing process.

We were scouting locations in Southern California and we found this gem of a spot and decided to fire up the gear and make a SUP piece. We wanted to create a piece about a morning sup surf session with a cinematic feel. Shot on the BMCC (Blackmagic Cinema Camera) with Nikon zooms and primes, graded it in Film Convert and finished it off in Premiere. Thanks to our good friend (and frequent go to talent for SUP projects) Brody from PaddleFit and Dave from Infinity Surfboards for always supporting with killer gear.

This was a really exciting project to work on. Temple Spa asked me to create a video for the prestigious AA Hospitality Awards 2016 event to showcase the use of their products in luxury hotels. They were after something with a luxurious, aspirational feel, quite different to what we had gone for before, and they were really happy with the result. So was I!
By Jim ElliottThis footage was all shot on the RED EpicX with Nikon and Tokina lenses on Inishark and Inishbofin, Ireland this summer of 2013. The original footage is also posted here, but this was processed using FilmConvert software in Premiere Pro using the Kodak 5207 setting. Music was performed by local musicians contracted for the larger project, Cultural Landscapes of the Irish Coast. This was originally put together for the locals to see what we did with our time there, so various people show up in shots for the fun of it, like Tommy Burke's knee!
