I drank too much prosecco and whipped out my camera during my good friends' wedding. Lucky I did because it's probably one of those most meaningful little films I've ever shot. As usual, FilmConvert is my secret sauce to making my little Sony not look like what people expect it should.

By Pece zdravkovskiAfter several months documenting in detail the making of a 12 foot Megillah Scroll, the scribe reveals an amazing story of the lost " little" Torah of Gardelegen.
To capture a live project in this detail, many camera and lens configurations were tested.
While filming, a number of additional lights were used to capture the detail of the artwork. This provided a challenge. To regain some of the studio texture and feeling while the artwork was being created I chose FilmConvert KD 5213 Vis3. After little adjustment the footage came to life adding depth and mood to my image. FilmConvert read my mind again.

In January, I got to experience Mallorca from its other side. With my friend Florian Gampert I travelled deep into the mountains and along the beautiful coast. Far away from drunk people. The conditions were extreme. Storms hit us and it poured down almost the hole time at 5°C, a weather you would expect from Iceland where I am every year. However the moments in between rain and fog were incredible, we captured them in this video from the air.

We've all had experiences in our lives that have shaped us. This short film is a comparison between personal growth and community growth. How our own experiences influence and mold the people around us.
Visually we wanted to use an art form and a common community setting to show the connection between personal growth and community growth. Take time to connect what you see with what you hear.

I got to see past the politics and meet people who, considering their living conditions, seemed so filled with joy it defied logic. By Sherif MokbelBrigid & Ben are childhood sweethearts, and their journey into adulthood has brought it's own trials. Their wedding day was a celebration of their love and resilience together. This 3 minute version is a snippet of their day, focusing on the Ceremony. Less cinematic than most wedding videos today, I try to focus on being in the moment with the couple and making videos that are a representation of them.
By Ashton HoweBringing Back the Light - Restoring the Life to Canada's Temperate Rainforests
This film explores the practice, the methods and the need for habitat restoration in British Columbia's temperate rainforests. At Central Westcoast Forest Society, we see a clear connection between healthy landscapes and healthy communities. Our coast is one of the most beautiful places in the world, but decades of destructive logging, mining, and development practices have left vast expanses of our temperate rainforest in need of a helping hand. Many wildlife species have become endangered and wild salmon runs that once teemed with life are struggling to survive. Our job is to get the hard work done, and to get it done now. By Jeff BushSuch a perfect day! It is such a special privilege to film the wedding of two people that are very dear to you. Bronte and Kyle had the most incredible wedding day, at which I definitely shed a couple of tears and then I nearly shed them again as I edited this video and relived all of those moments again.
