I drank too much prosecco and whipped out my camera during my good friends' wedding. Lucky I did because it's probably one of those most meaningful little films I've ever shot. As usual, FilmConvert is my secret sauce to making my little Sony not look like what people expect it should.

A comic music video documentary of how we filmed our short film "Dogs of War"

After several months documenting in detail the making of a 12 foot Megillah Scroll, the scribe reveals an amazing story of the lost " little" Torah of Gardelegen.

To capture a live project in this detail, many camera and lens configurations were tested.
While filming, a number of additional lights were used to capture the detail of the artwork. This provided a challenge. To regain some of the studio texture and feeling while the artwork was being created I chose FilmConvert KD 5213 Vis3. After little adjustment the footage came to life adding depth and mood to my image. FilmConvert read my mind again.

In January, I got to experience Mallorca from its other side. With my friend Florian Gampert I travelled deep into the mountains and along the beautiful coast. Far away from drunk people. The conditions were extreme. Storms hit us and it poured down almost the hole time at 5°C, a weather you would expect from Iceland where I am every year. However the moments in between rain and fog were incredible, we captured them in this video from the air.

I got to see past the politics and meet people who, considering their living conditions, seemed so filled with joy it defied logic. These are people who are invisible to most of us and have little more than work, faith and family to occupy their time. I think they might be on to something.

At Central Westcoast Forest Society, we see a clear connection between healthy landscapes and healthy communities. Our coast is one of the most beautiful places in the world, but decades of destructive logging, mining, and development practices have left vast expanses of our temperate rainforest in need of a helping hand. Many wildlife species have become endangered and wild salmon runs that once teemed with life are struggling to survive. Our job is to get the hard work done, and to get it done now. Such a perfect day! It is such a special privilege to film the wedding of two people that are very dear to you. Bronte and Kyle had the most incredible wedding day, at which I definitely shed a couple of tears and then I nearly shed them again as I edited this video and relived all of those moments again.
