Going on these kind of trips to places that are not really common to surf and where the forecast can change by the hour always comes with a little risk of not getting the waves you expect, but this time I got lucky and surfing in a bay with huge snow covered mountains wherever you look was one of the most beautiful and humbling experiences of my life!" Short documentary featuring a dialogue with writer Norman Manea celebrating 25 years of his work in translation. Norman Manea discusses exile and the importance of translation. Manea is currently a professor and writer in residence at Bard College. He has received important American and European distinctions (Medicis Etranger Prize, Nelly Sachs Prize, Palau Fabre Prize, American McArthur Fellowship..). He is considered the most honored Romanian writer, outside his homeland and is often a candidate for the Nobel Prize in literature.

Oslo and indeed Norway offer one of the most spectacular tourist experiences on our planet. Starting in the must-see Vigeland Sculpture Park, this journey takes us west to Trollstigen, out onto the Fjords of Geiranger and Oslo, aboard the famous Flam Railway, and back to Oslo for some island hopping. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I did creating it.

Experience the fantastic frozen landscapes of Norway with us! In February 2019, my girlfriend and I borrowed a traditional Norwegian cabin in the region of Trysil, Norway. For a week we went cross-country skiing and explored the region and its magical snow sceneries. Enjoy.

In a very poor village, there is a shortage of almost everything, except talent. "Nossa Casa" (Home) is a musical short film about the artistic project developed by São Roque association with the children of the region.

I usually wait for a year before I start editing the footage from my travels. Some call it procrastination, I like to call it traveling on a budget. With this method, I can relive all the adventures while going through the hundred gigabytes of video! Kind of. Back in November of 2015 we decided to escape the horrible Estonian weather and flew to Bali. The tourism and party capital of Indonesia! But we avoided the beach-party-promenade of Kuta and set out to explore the hidden natural attractions. We climbed a volcano and swam with manta rays, bathed in huge waterfalls and surfed not so huge waves, jumped down some cliffs and walked on pink sand beaches. Press play and book your flight.

20 years ago Kim Dawson Agency started their Model Search bringing the world Erin Wasson. Since then, the Kim Dawson Model Search has grown to include a film festival to showcase the talents of the fresh-faced finalists. We had the absolute pleasure of working with 2017 finalist, Claire Everbach, to capture this amazing coming-of-age film.

This is the videoclip we realize for the song "Nothing Less" (in italian "Niente di meno").

'NOVEMBER' was shot on the mountains of Oiti and Parnassos in Greece. It was all shot on a Canon 7D with the RAW Video hack from Magic Lantern. Lens used: Zeiss C/Y 50mm 1.7, Zeiss 20mm M42 and some shots with a Canon 70-200 2.8. Most shots where shot using a small Glidecam. Edited in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects and Color corrected with DaVinci Resolve, also used Film Convert at the end for the film emulation.

Just south of Guatemala City rests an Oasis. Never before have I witnessed or experienced God’s power at this magnitude.

If you haven't been exposed to a perspective such as this, I encourage you to explore this part of our world. While the need is indeed great, the impact we can have on individual lives and beyond may surprise you. Ripples turn into waves.

The story of how a Kenyan Couple with the help of God & a non profit organization Sowing Seeds of Joy plans to change a country. Shot on my trusty 1DC and color graded with the amazing Film convert & Davinci.

After watching a few movies by Terrence Malick, I was obsessed with the emotions he has in his movies through the voiceover, lens and the movements of the camera. Through this video, I was trying to copy his style in a sense of emotions and camera.

This project was created as a demonstration of FilmConvert software. The software does an amazing job of emulation not only of film grain, but also the film stocks colorimetry. What makes it even richer is that the emulation is also based on the color profile of the aquisition device. This allowed me to use 4 different "film stocks" - giving me greater artistic control over the final look and feel of the finished piece. Very cool.

About the setting:
OBX is the abbreviation given to North Carolina's Outer Banks. Here in the states, the abbreviation has appeared as bumper stickers on cars. I recently spent a couple of weeks on the Outer Banks. I had forgotten what an amazing beautiful place it is.

We set out at the break of dawn aboard the "Moon Shadow" and spent a day taking in the sun, the sights, and the creative vibes.

This little movie is a commercial for a glasses's company. They ask us to produce an original commercial movie with emotion, sport, family, children, nature, life... A little challenge. We find the idea to show how ODB (Bourbon's Optical) can help their customers in all their life through the eyes of them and how it can be when the company offer them awesome glasses. We direct this commercial with my team during 4 days with a lot of fun ! For the post production & color grading, Filmconvert was (is) the tool to use to improve a movie, so without thinking I used it for the color grading.

"Little Bitty" is a song that expresses the fun-loving, quirky nature of this musical duo, and their performance speaks to the natural chemistry that only siblings have with one another. The message behind the song is pretty simple: it's all about feeling the music, getting down, and letting your freak flag fly.

In today's world with so much business, scandal, and constant feeling of dread, we often convince ourselves that everything is all right while the world is burning around us. Threats of nuclear war, famine, wildfires, and world leaders performing a farce on the world stage leave us realizing how little control we have in life. We suppress our fears, put on a smile, and tell everyone things are good.
