Whilst Rio de Janeiro is renowned for its carnival, Latin America has a range of distinctive carnivals and traditions, often inspired by political history. Candombe is a Uruguayan form of cultural expression with roots in colonial slavery. Originating as a parody and mockery of slave masters, it is a proud statement of rebellious spirit and freedom, and an important celebration of Afro-Latino culture and pride. Samburu Moran is a comparsa (candombe troupe) from the small town of Fray Bentos on the Argentine Uruguayan border. Having qualified to compete at Montevideo Carnival for the first time the film captures their preparation and parade performance as they compete against 45 comparsas from across the nation.

This wedding was unlike anything else I've done. This wasn't just a "show up and record" kind of day. I spent a full week in the Cayman Islands with these two and their closest family and friends, and by the end of it left feeling like more a part of the family than a "vendor". Their story is also a special one. They met as kids at Morritts resort in the Cayman Islands, and decided to have their intimate wedding back where it all began.

Filmed on the GH5 & GH5S w/ Ronin-M, Shogun Inferno in HLG 4K 60P and graded with FilmConvert KDP400 Ptra. Conformed to a 4K DCI 2.40:1 aspect ratio.

A trailer for a short film called Saved.

In what can only be described as the movie event of the summer, Tiddly Films present ‘Saving Private Lion’ - an action-packed WW2 mini-epic, which is quite clearly based on a true story (hmm!) First we see a fictional dramatised account of the D-Day landings, followed by a calamitous attempt at a re-enactment of the former at the Aberystwyth Charity Raft Race in 2017 using Go Pro action cams. Filmconvert was used to try and match the look of the Go Pro footage to that of the Blackmagic Camera (which was graded using Da Vinci Resolve), achieving a bleak, WW2-movie look.

This track gave me a vintage but happy feeling, so I wanted more of that flat Pulp Fiction look. Therefore, I purposely filmed it in harsh light when the sun was beaming by the water with no tall high rise building in the way.. So I went I used the Film Convert Nitrate as a base, FJ Prov 100 for its warm look and cranked up the color temperature. I added some finishing touches with to smooth the colors out with a lutify in lumetri.

A trip down Grey County Road 1 in Ontario, Canada with my dad on Thanksgiving weekend 2014. We stopped just above Gravelly Bay, Big Bay, Skinner's Bluff and finally for a coffee in Wiarton before heading home.

Two people find themselves hostage to man looking for a legendary item of utmost importance.

This is a short film showing the incredible light and landscape of some of the Scottish mountains and lochs. Driving around Scotland in a van is an experience that surpassed expectations, even though they were high to begin with. The reason for the trip was a location recce for an upcoming short film project, it's safe to say we found some stunning locations. We only had 6 days, it just wasn't enough, there is so much to see and I just wanted to stop and take it all in.

Filmed at 1080P50 on a Panasonic G6 and graded in FilmConvert

A non-verbal observational documentary reflecting the stark beauty of Scottish landscapes, which are sometimes wild and often quite isolated, and which are attributes which add to their allure. The film was composed in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and shot in the style of Michael Glawogger, wherein time is allowed to unfold under the camera's unhurried gaze. Edited and colour-graded using DaVinci Resolve Studio 16.

Alternating memories of past summer's girlfriends.

The film is an event recap of the presentation of a brand new egg cooking machine. This movie was shot at the headquarter of SCRAEGG GmbH.

A music video we filmed in two days, filming in Prespa was incredible, especially at the abandoned hotel “Evropa”. Although the flames were not planned in the shoot, we came up with that shot on the road and I’m glad we did them.
