Rather than write about the video itself and undo the simple elegance of Mike's explanations, I thought I'd come from a different angle -- what you can do to help us. The good news is that it is actually pretty simple. If you enjoyed the video and got something from it, please share it with your friends and family. That's it. There's no 800 number, no phone calls for donations, no pledge drive...just a couple of mouse clicks is all we ask in return for providing this educational series. Please Facebook it, tweet it, email it, whatever you can...these ideas need to be in front of as many folks as possible. Your help in sharing these videos helps us immensely. By Dan RubockFriends,
Its finally done. In my second film this year, I show you where the past 3 generations of my family has gone to escape the real world. Located in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, SILVERTON is one of a kind. Written by myself and brother Jared Thiem, we give you our take on what our generation is missing out on. Portrayed by Jenna Thiem, we see that “the beauty in the world isn’t always where everyone else is going”. Put it on the big screen and turn it way up— thats how we’re doing it.
Interpret it, take action, and show us what you find. Here is Silverton, as seen by me.
Best,
Jordan

By Bjorn TobiassonAn early labour of love project completed over 8x weekends for Sydney post-rock band Sleepmakewaves. I met Alex from SMW at a Brisbane gig and from there we collaborated to make this simple story about a frustrated scientist converting his thoughts into reality. Building a machine that would allow him to travel as a mysterious energy. Filmed in my old tool shed out in the sticks and out and around the area - this project was completed over 8x weekends with over 30+ visual effects shots.

We also tried to be very careful with skin tones. Every screen was replaced in After Effects with the problems and games that the client wanted to appear.
