More than 25,000 Moldovans are trafficked abroad every year. Many of them are orphans. Tanea's Story offers a glimpse into the life of one of Moldova's many orphans and the hope of a better life she has found with the help of Justice & Mercy International.

A short film shot on the new Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II camera. The film was shot using two cameras and the following Olympus M.Zuiko lenses: 9mm f8 (Body Cap Lens), 12mm f2, 12-40mm f2.8PRO, 25mm f1.8, 45mm f1.8 and 75mm f1.8. Ambient audio was recorded on camera using a Rode Stereo VideoMic X. Audio was also recorded using an Olympus LS-100 with it's internal microphones for ambient sounds and also hooked up to a Rode NTG3 for other atmospheric recordings. A Rode Lavalier microphone was used for for the interviews, attached to the Olymps LS-100.
The majority of shots were hand held, using the camera's built in stabilisation system to keep the shots steady. For the shots where the camera was attached to the taxi, a Delkin Fat Gheko camera mount was used. A Manfrotto tripod and video monopod was also used for the interview and cab rank scenes.
Editing was done on an Apple Mac Pro, FCP X, FilmConvert, using Eizo monito

One moment it seems you can grasp them, the next they slip away. The works of Mehdi Behbudi, sound artist from Tehran, oscillate between abstraction and the sounds of everyday life. Behbudi, together with Iranian poet Vahide Sistani and Hamburg-based video artist Felix Lübbert, created this piece for a change of perspective on our daily life. “Tehran Thricolage”, one of the collective’s first video installations, shows rare drone footage of bustling squares and traffic junctions in Tehran. In the background, Sistani’s detailed poems can be heard floating gently above Behbudi’s streetlife-inspired sound-art.

"Tesh" is a story about Hitesh Parekh who came from a small town in India and is now realizing his dream. Tesh came to the US in 1996 as a project manager for an IT company based in India. As a child he fell in love with drawing and painting but the idea of becoming an artist as a profession seemed out of reach as the pressures of making money took hold. In his downtime as a single adult living in America he found his way back to that artistic passion initially through photography. Eventually he picked up sketching and painting again and when the opportunity arose to be an artist professionally he knew it was the right thing to do. He's now an accomplished photographer and painter living in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Tesh has established himself in both the wedding and corporate industries. A music video made with archived before de pandemic, La Volantín is a local band from Chile, and for this video we used the SONY FS7, the BMPCC, and a GOPRO. We balanced color and then apply Filmconvert Nitrate, after that we made little adjustment with the FCPX tools.

Up until a few ago, all that I knew about nurses was that they were nice people that worked in hospitals. Because I dislike nothing more than getting sick or injured I actively avoided hospitals, and thereby most nurses. This all changed when Texas A&M University's College of Nursing reached out to me about filming a promotional video showing why nurses are awesome, and more importantly, why Aggie nurses are the absolute best. Since both my wife and I are Aggies, of course we jumped at the chance to revisit College Station, eat tacos at Fuego, and film something special for the College of Nursing. My fears of hospitals were put aside as we filmed nurses in training, forensic nurses, nurse classes, and even a flight nurse. Which means, you guessed it, I got to fly in a helicopter - EASILY one of the coolest things I've ever done. Being known until recently as the Europe’s best keep secret, the Porto’s strong charisma captivates every visitor and incites an inflated sense of pride to all the Porto citizens. Framed by the relations between the Atlantic Ocean and the Douro river, Porto is a combination of nature and the con- crete. The video brings out visually all the Porto colors, guided by a girl who shares her feelings and devotion for Porto.

When Greg Hamblin used words to motivate a group of creatives he had no idea it would turn into such a collaborative venture. This behind the scenes video shows that story, the people and the vision of the 80s shoot.

Poverty and need in the local community can often be closer than most people think. Recognizing this need in the local Dayton area (937 area code), our student body at Cedarville University is partnering with ministries that are creating lasting change.

As the Media Director for Cedarville's Student Government, I wanted to create a video that not only exposed the need in our hurting community but also explored ways to help through local ministries. Shoes 4 The Shoeless provides shoes for impoverished children and Target Dayton Ministries provides meals for the poor and homeless. A brief snapshot of these ministries' stories is captured with the goal to inspire our student body and people in general to pour into the local community and serve those within reach that desperately need help.

I shot this video entirely using my Canon T3i and Glidecam HD2000. For most of the glidecam shots, I used a Canon 35mm f2.0. When filming the interviews, I used my Canon 50

An international popband sensation of centenarian grannies? Yep, it’s KBG84. People in the Okinawa island chain in southern Japan live to be the oldest anywhere in the world. It is designated a BlueZone and has one of the highest concentrations of centenarians. While both men and women of older generations live long lives, women tend to outlive their male counterparts and make it well into their 100s – and Tomi-San is no exception. Unavoidable when you live that long, tragedy entered Tomi’s life when both her son & husband passed away. Tomi found herself in a deep depression. This is the story of how she faced unimaginable hardship and sorrow in her life and in the process broke through barriers beyond her wildest dreams. Film Convert played a role in the final grade as we looked to really bring out the granny's age, frailty, yet paradoxical ruggedness.
