'Working the Sea' follows the fortunes of the Bagwells, a Sidmouth fishing family from the forties when young Stan was fishing with his father in a borrowed boat, to the nineties when they have two fish shops, two trawlers fishing out of Brixham, and three boats working off the beach at Sidmouth. Then, tragedy strikes and the women of the family pick up the pieces. The film also weaves the contemporary users of the coast, from the sailing club to the lifeboat, into the narrative. So this is ultimately a film about community spirit and how a mutual love of and respect for the sea draws people together. 'This stunning film: fascinating and inspiring, funny and humbling is a powerful reminder how lucky we are on the coast'. Our first film for Dorset Coast Forum. Sam Shuker, a 17 year old trainee commercial fisherman takes us out on a scallop boat from Lyme Regis and tells it like it is. He works long hours, determined to get as much experience as he can ready for the day when he is old enough to skipper a boat himself. Despite having all his fisherman tickets, Sam is also going to train to be a commercial diver, so that he can hand dive for scallops. He talks about the importance of the marine reserve for his fishery. He's seen first-hand the ups and downs his fisherman father has gone through so he knows he's chosen one of the toughest careers out there. But he loves the sense of freedom fishing brings. He says 'the opportunities I have - it's so much more than a job, it's something I live for. I am determined to fight for it and if I have to rebuild it.'

Such a surreal experience for the both of us and I wanted to share it with you. The wireless headphones are a part of their silent disco which was pretty damn cool. Groupon jooged us w the VIP for $31 instead of $75. Definitely check it out this weekend, it's worth every cent.

Music video for British Pop Band 'Youth Club' that I shot last month. The premise was of 'crazy ex-girlfriends' in a concept style whilst maintaining a 'tongue-on-cheek' feel.

A bittersweet, haze-filled, love story told in shadowy purple & amber. This was a music video shot for the band YOUTHFOOL.

This really was a stunning wedding celebrating two people that are clearly perfect for each other. As Henry said in his speech, he and Fenella have “grown up together”.

I had an opportunity to film a beautiful after-party for a wedding of a beautiful couple on a beautiful day. Shot entirely with a BMPCC 4K with a EF-S 17-55mm. Graded with FilmConvert.

Yvette & Nick tied the knot at the gorgeous Lake Oak Meadows in Temecula, CA. There was no doubt that these two absolutely love each other! And we mean the love each other A LOT!

Nick is definitely a mans man, a man who is tough and caring. He’s a man who knows that emotions is everything. We can tell right away that Nick definitely wanted to show Yvette and the world how much he’s in love with his wonderful bride!

Every single detail was just a remarkable mix of chic and rustic. From the wonderful cowboy boots to their very well put together ceremony and reception. It was everything that anyone wants for their wedding!

Claudette's son, Zach, loss his battle with cancer. A year after his death, Edd, a baseball coach, meets Zach's mother, Claudette, and reveals his sorrow.

I met Zach back in LA for a brief moment and when I flew out to Nashville for my buddy Taylor. I got to hang out and spend an entire day with Zach and we ended up filming this video.
