After moving to Denver, CO from CT this year I was fortunate enough to have Bear Creek Park just down the street from my house in Lakewood. This is a little compilation of shots I did at the park over several weeks. Coming from the east coast I did not grow up with accessible parks and outdoors experiences so this is me paying respect to my new home and all the inspiration it gives me. Exploration is in the blood of some people. I'd been struggling with the decision to settle down into a career or drop it all in order to travel the world. I confided in my father and he let me in on a family secret -- one that was withheld from him on the fear he would repeat the actions of our ancestor. I used Filmconvert's Plrd600 filter to give my video a sun bleached 16mm family album feel.

In April of 2016 Jen O'Neill climbed to Everest Base Camp to raise money for her 2 year old disabled nephew Nathaniel. He has a rare genetic condition called tetrasomy 18p. Nathaniel cannot walk, speak, or eat solid food because his muscles have not developed normally and he requires 24/7 care. Much of his condition is still undiscovered and requires further research. CLIMB FOR A CAUSE was a fundraiser to help Nathaniel and other children with his condition and their families access the proper treatment. This short film documents Jen's climb to over 18,000 feet.

Three surfers from Kaua`i set out to bring clean water to the people of Indonesia while on a surf trip. After arriving in Indo they learn it's much more difficult to make a difference then they initially thought. Through equal parts persistence and luck they are able to join a student project from Australia who've developed a teaching tool that could save hundreds of lives. The team, with the help of Surfaid Sumba test the project and discovers the key to creating lasting sustainable change. In the end they learn how a small group of people can contribute and make a big improvement in a worldwide problem.

Product video we did for an online company that teaches maths to children with games. We tried to maintain the image as clean as possible while giving an organic look and nice colors. We also tried to be very careful with skin tones. Every screen was replaced in After Effects with the problems and games that the client wanted to appear.

This is my new short documentary and it's about sound engineering and designing. Tim Alicino is an italian but South Africa based sound engineer and through his words we'll discover what the art of sound design means for him.

Being inspired by the boats and their markings, the story grew once I met John Booker, a local fisherman. John’s weathered ‘nothing defeats me’ attitude gave me inspiration to create this short film showing the effort it takes him to get the boat to the sea and gives an insight to his long standing connection with the deep blue.
