By pacoThis is my trailer for the new hiphop /House record by Cuthead. Its called "Return of the Sample Jesus" so we decided to create a UFO like scene of the coming of this Jesus. The Car is just moving in the first two shots, the rest is faked by shaking it and projecting a moving background and rain from a garden hose.

By franciscoPetter lived at a remote place called Mefjord on the Island of Sørøya for more then 40 years all by himself. It took him nearly half a century to build a road to his house - but he never owned a car. He died in 2014, but the place looks as he still lives there.
By Christoph KirchnerPOLISH is a crazy short movie about two Chinese brothers in New York from a triad family. The oldest brother is the boss, and owns all the nail salons in New York... Except one. The youngest, however, is tired of this life, and wants to achieve his dream : to become the best nail artist in the world. He therefore tries to get hired... in the last salon his family doesn't control. Graded completely with FilmConvert and the awesome FJ 8543 VD, the colors are super vivid to get a very "pop" feeling, yet the skin colors (and they are varied) all look amazing and natural. Using film emulation really allowed me to have a saturated, yet balanced picture. Sorry the movie is so long, I hope the first 5 minutes will be enough to give you an idea of the look of the movie.

By Ramiro del Carpio"Dzulhijjah month is one of the holy month for Muslims in which they were instructed to do berqurban ie slaughtering sacrificial animals are prescribed in Islamic law such as goats, cows, buffaloes, camels, etc. There are special rules in the case of the slaughter of sacrificial animals and this distinguishes it from the usual animal slaughter. On this day thousands and even millions of animals slaughtered and then distributed to the poor. This movie represents the smallest area in Yogyakarta."

By Alex Belville"Motivation Letter through the Alps" is a story, about a 1215 kms bicycle ride from Toulouse in the south of France to the city of Zurich in northeastern of Switzerland, crossing 2500 mts altitude in the Alps, to deliver by hand a motivation letter in three sports institutions: UEFA in Nyon, International Olympic Committee in Lausanne and FIFA in Zurich. Is a story without more pretensions, than being an open testimony of a person like you and like millions of others who pedal daily with determination to make their dreams come true. For me is a metaphor of life. I believe that we all have our own dreams that drive us to take our bicycle in one direction of the path of life. Our effort and determination is the daily pedaling needed to keep moving forward, and our fears and insecurities that we face on the road seem to be the great peaks of the Alps that I want to overcome them. This is not a story about winning or losing, but about having the courage to pursue our dreams. Mo

By Joseph KafkaFollow a group a person's with disabilities, along with volunteers and family members, as they travel to Romania to inspire and share what their lives look like with the hope that by doing so, they will be helping to make the world a better place for others with developmental challenges. This Is How Change Happens: One Person One Gesture One Moment at a Time Even though Romania is a developed nation, its attitudes toward people with disabilities lag about 50 years behind those in British Columbia. There are very few services there, and those that do exist have a largely institutional model.

By Will AkerWe all have a hometown, somewhere that made us who we are, a place that stirs up dust inside of us. A hometown is where we first found our voice, learned what it meant to be disappointed, where we surprised ourselves for the first time and maybe even proved ourselves wrong. Home is a place we leave and eventually come back to. And when we come back, it’s never the same. Sometimes it’s the place that’s changed, but most of the time, it’s us. We leave our hometown full of ideas about the world that aren’t our own and spend time working towards things that ultimately lead us to dead ends. Part of finding what success looks like for any of us is walking away from those things that hold us back, being real with ourselves about where we’ve come from and having the courage to ask ourselves, “What now?”

By aaronhallSometimes inspiring others to conservation starts with the simple act of giving them a place to walk. That's one of the driving forces which compelled Matthew Christiansen to spend this past summer digging trenches, cutting overgrowth, and maintaining the vast network of trails in the Monongahela National Forest located in West Virginia. In partnership with the Student Conservation Association and the U.S. Forest Service, Matthew set out to make his mark on the very lands which helped inspire his path to the study of environmental science. But as it goes with the outdoors, Matthew soon discovered the deeper truths of how a simple shovel and a pickaxe can move others to action.

By Courtney BennettThis footage from a open-pit coal mine in Germany was taken on one late afternoon in March 2014. It gives a brief impression of a longtime documentary about this coal mine near the city Cologne. The tilt-effect was invariably achieved by using a 30 years old large format camera (Sinar f) and a Rodenstock lens 180mm/5,6. Slightly color graded with Filmconvert Pro (Settings Landscape, Velvia) and due to the strong wind stabilized in AE and separately recorded sound.

By edenCharlie Fitzpatrick is the most successful high school basketball coach in Georgia history. While many of his players think of him as a father, his relationship with his own “bookworm” son, Evan, is strained. With the help of his wife, Laura and Evan’s wife, Heather, Charlie determines the best way to connect and bond is to take his son and grandson, Markie, who has just announced he’s dropping out of college to tour with his folk band, to a rustic mountain cabin for a weekend retreat. Only this cabin is the same site where he took his many winning teams to test their mettle over a grueling military-style obstacle course, the same one Evan, as a student never got the chance to complete. This is Charlie’s idea of fun, Evan’s idea of a nightmare, and Markie’s idea of—well he’s young and idealistic; he’s just going with the flow. Over the course of three days, through hilarious moments, soul-searching moments and one experience that frightens them all to the core, the men discover w
