CAVALLO is a short portrait about my father. He is a 71-year-old horse rider. Horse riding has been his passion for over 50 years now. As an experienced rider he gives us a brief glimpse of what he thinks is the essence of riding.

In Even tonight water should feel like a cold, strange and unfamiliar environment. Being underwater is a struggle, under the water, there is nowhere to run. The music video as well the song tells us a story about self-acceptance, which may be extremely hard but is absolutely vital. There is this great inner power, a true belief, a knowledge within you that you just have to accept however painful it is. So you take this brave step under the water to face your own truth.

In January, I got to experience Mallorca from its other side. With my friend Florian Gampert I travelled deep into the mountains and along the beautiful coast. Far away from drunk people. The conditions were extreme. Storms hit us and it poured down almost the hole time at 5°C, a weather you would expect from Iceland where I am every year. However the moments in between rain and fog were incredible, we captured them in this video from the air.

A 1 minute short film about a boy who seeks to bury something inside the forest.

We observe a young man. He s now sitting there weighing in on his options on how to commit suicide. He is not alone though, his other selves, the hippie, the cool guy and the old man are always with him. Together they go on a metaphysical journey through the young man s life, time and space don’ t matter anymore. We meet the young man as a boy-choir member, trying to run away from two very mean looking bullies. We join a party, where all his ex-girlfriends (and boyfriends) do nothing but complain about him, we go on an esoterically fuelled self healing trip and although he doesn’ t achieve spiritual enlightenment, he at least got enough material for an audiobook out of it. “monolog” is a 14-minute short film by the young Viennese-director Christian Thüringer, who also plays all the lead roles. The short film will was on festival tour world wide in 2014 and 2015 and won several awards, including best original screenplay, best actor and best video editing.

There are countless other tropical destinations, but for millions of tourists each year, this fascinating island is the favorite. Bali’s beauty goes way deeper than its beautiful appearances. The island is also home to many traditional cultural traditions that are still practiced. The Balinese hold many ceremonies and celebrations throughout the year, many of which can be enjoyed by curious tourists, from the Geret Pandan a Fight with Pandans leaves to the monster parade before the day of silence (Nyepi). Tourists can also enjoy Bali’s culture through music, dance and architecture. The word "paradise" is used a lot in Bali and not without reason. The combination of friendly, hospitable people, a magnificently visual culture infused with spirituality and (not least) spectacular beaches with great surfing and diving have made Bali Indonesia's unrivaled number one tourist attraction.

My Brother and I were asked by dear friends to shoot their special day. This was the first time we had the opportunity to shoot a wedding, and although stressful at times, it was an incredible learning experience. You have one shot to to capture the highlights of the bride and grooms day, and being able to tell the story while still keeping the viewers attention was challenging. We were pretty happy how it turned out, I hope you enjoy.
