Brown Girls Do Ballet, a philanthropic organization often featured for its noteworthy Instagram movement, wanted to produce their 2018 calendar shoot with a new angle. These dancers go through so much in their careers due to discrimination based on the color of their skin. These experiences have made them push harder to become the amazing dancers they are.

By Reece PottorffAs a Canadian traveling through Baltimore and Washington during the time of the Trump election, I noticed a lot of things that stood out to me. The anger, aggression and divide between the political parties, the extremely evident racial separation and the stark contrast between the rich and the poor. These things were all incredibly prominent as we drove through the streets of these cities. I wanted to create a video that would not only show this, but also deliver a message that to me, all this divide and anger does not make any sense. In the world that we live in today, we need more love and compassion, we need more understanding for each other and we need to make a change.

By Dom PortallaA visual exploration of some of Australia's most iconic spots and not so often explored rural locations. Starting with helicopter footage of Sydney's picturesque harbor, this journey takes us to the Blue Mountains, the sheep shearing sheds of rural NSW, out to the track for some country horse racing, and back up with the breathtaking night skies of outback Australia. I hope you enjoy Wonderland Australia as much as I enjoyed making it.

By Job Davidxxxxx offers an insight into the craft and work of the immensely talented London based British designer/artist Alkesh Parmar who turns discarded scrap materials into amazing sculptures of lights, this short film explores Alkesh's practice, presenting the work of his recent project - Celebration Chandelier. His work often utilises banal everyday objects, most of the time these materials are discarded after use such as the champagne corks used for this chandelier. “The notion of recycling is an important part to my practice, however this is not my prime objective.” The central point of his work is light and the relationship it shares with the objects. The corks are hollowed out and outfitted with LED bulbs, programmed with circuitry which then customised to various interiors including restaurants, bars and homes. Each cork is hand crafted into individual lamps and grouped together to form a neutral, warm and beautiful chandelier. --- Designer/Artist: Alkesh Parmar Directed &

By Ebert SteynA short film that combines a heartful story – as mostly told in feature films – with the look and feel of a cinematic high fashion TV commercial. The film was shot over the course of a week in October 2016, under the wonderful warmth of the Andalusian sun in picturesque Spain. The story revolves around a young woman and her two male counterparts, fiercely entangled in a play of reality and imagination – while dressed in Gucci, Jil Sander and Maison Martin Margiela. Two competing motives: desire vs. the pursuit of finding true self. Be cautious, things may not be as they appear!
By Reno MezgerTears In The Rain, the award-winning South African sci-fi short by filmmaker Christopher Grant Harvey, is an unabashed love letter to the 1982 motion picture 'Blade Runner', and Philip K. Dick's novel 'Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?' Set in Los Angeles in the latter part of the twenty-first century, the short stars Sean Cameron Michael as John Kampff, a mysterious law enforcement official who is tracking down a man named Andy Smith (Russel Savadier), who is suspected of being a replicant: an artificial being almost indistinguishable from humans. With its haunting, 80s-inspired synthesized score, futuristic Los Angeles cityscape complete with flying cars, looming ultra-skyscrapers, and neon-haloed, grime covered streets, Tears In The Rain convincingly duplicates the dark dystopian aesthetic of Blade Runner.

By konrad bakCuba is a very different place, you arrive there with absolutely no idea of what to expect and every single moment, you're finding something new for yourself - uncover an alternative reality of the world around you. Cuba is a unique place with wonderful people. This is the one thing that really stuck in our minds and hearts - People are merry and very grateful. Cuban people have an enormous weight on their shoulders and their lives are far away from being simple or easy, but despite everything, they still always sincerely smile and are always willing to help and give. Their internal strength is truly inspiring. We've made real friends and met men and women whom we've known for a very long time, knowing them just for a few seconds. I invite you to look into the lives of some of the people that we were lucky to meet during our trip.

By Alvaro de la HozHitasha is a lead cake designer and owner of The Cakery Bake Shop and this girl can design cakes like no other. Being a South Asian Videography studio, we get to work with many vendors but it’s an honor when we get to film their own wedding. During my early discussions with Hitasha and Kunal, I learned three things very quickly: they have a great love story, they love Bollywood and she is going to design her own cake. I knew that if we somehow capture these three things, we will achieve the goal of capturing something which means lot to them. When it comes to Bollywood, what can be better than lovebirds in the rain? They loved the idea and we decided to go with it. Long story short, it was challenging but fun to capture rain shots without having Bollywood budget. Since Hitasha is a cake designer she planned to make her own cake. I never knew what it takes to design one until I show her planning and designing it. She held intimate Mehndi event at her house with close families and fri

By Lennart ArendesDue to the global climate change, snowboarding in Estonia has become a pretty rare activity during the winter months. We get natural snow for two weeks and the ski resorts struggle with making enough snow to build and maintain a proper snowboard park. Despite the depressing conditions, I tried to stay positive and managed to stack enough footage to put together this snowboard video.
