This story was based on modelling and photography websites that act as hunting grounds for predators looking to take advantage of models who believe they are advancing career, when they are really entering a terrible situation. The artist sent me an early mix of this track while I was on the road. I listened to the song for an hour straight, and had really vivid shots already in my head from the song and knew we had to give it an old-style treatment like this. I wanted a subtle and almost haunting narrative, set underneath beautiful southern-summer imagery. The artist was totally on board and let me follow my own vision for it. I love how it came out, and I really hope you enjoy it! This was a really intimate shoot- I shot and put everything together myself with no crew, and almost no artificial lighting. Props were made by hand, and actors were all volunteers. We shot this over a few different days here in the Nashville, TN area. Everything was shot on the Blackmagic Ursa Mini 4.6K with Sigma Art 18-35 and 50-100 1.8 zooms. Graded and edited in Resolve using Filmconvert!

This is my Video for Cuthead´s "Real Estate". His Albums called "Return of the Sample Jesus" so we created that sun ra like space guru walking through the german "Plattenbau". We tried to recreate a hiphop look with a freaky religious twist and also to satirize the these megalomania cliché rap videos with concrete buildings, slowmo and low angle shots.

This is my trailer for the new hiphop /House record by Cuthead. Its called "Return of the Sample Jesus" so we decided to create a UFO like scene of the coming of this Jesus. The Car is just moving in the first two shots, the rest is faked by shaking it and projecting a moving background and rain from a garden hose.

POLISH is a crazy short movie about two Chinese brothers in New York from a triad family. The oldest brother is the boss, and owns all the nail salons in New York... Except one. The youngest, however, is tired of this life, and wants to achieve his dream : to become the best nail artist in the world. He therefore tries to get hired... in the last salon his family doesn't control. Graded completely with FilmConvert and the awesome FJ 8543 VD, the colors are super vivid to get a very "pop" feeling, yet the skin colors (and they are varied) all look amazing and natural. Using film emulation really allowed me to have a saturated, yet balanced picture. Sorry the movie is so long, I hope the first 5 minutes will be enough to give you an idea of the look of the movie.
